TOKI RESORT HAKUBA

Not a 4 star hotel, no room service no room cleaning. Very small rooms for the price.

The breakfast is good with various kinds of western and Japanese food. The spa in the hotel is very well maintained. Hotel location is close to Goryu Ski resort and easy for transferring to other ski areas by the shuttle bus. We did not eat dinner in the hotel, as the buffet is a bit limited choices.

The local to the Hakuba Goryu chairlifts is incredible....the onsen is a welcome relief after a day on the ski slopes, whilst the buffet breakfast provides a wide variety of options. The fitout is tired, particularly the rooms. They dont provide cleaning service in the room, so 3 day play stay, going in and out of the room...you get the picture

The Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful The shared onsen. For any Westerners that do not know, it is a shared bathroom with 6 showers open and a hot onsen you can sit in. You are to go naked for hygiene reasons. At the point of booking I did not realise this. I would not book a hotel with a shared bathroom again

The staff really nice, so polite, Kind and helpfull. One of them even offer us a ride in his car to the bus station because we were running late and had to walk. Big room with such a view, the spa with sauna an onzen Just amaizing. The location is perfect, Just near skirentals and ski ressort (walking distance) Buffet breakfast with many options. We loved the place and the stuff. The wifi didn't work. We stayed almost 5 days and at least for 2 days it didn't work.

The location which is few steps from the gondola in Hakuba Goryu, nice onsen and breakfast. The furniture in our room was very damaged, the sofas were faded. The bathroom is a modular element, very cramped and, in the case of this hotel, terribly smelly, we had to constantly open the window to get rid of the smell. The information folder contains information that the hotel does not clean the rooms during the stay and that guests should throw away the garbage themselves into the garbage can in the corridor, which happened to us for the first time and we travel a lot. To sum up I would say: avoid this place, terrible standard and quality of service in relation to the price.

Staff were super helpful at all times! 10/10 Location awesome for access to Hakuba Goryu /47. Neat and clean. Breakfast terrific with lots of options. Loved the onsen…kids would have liked access to private showers.

We had a family room which was perfect for our stay and consisted of one double room and one triple room which was as connected by an entrance room/ sink/ coat rack. We had our own private bathroom. The room was comfortable and clean and worked well for our family of 3 adults and 3 kids. The omen was good and we enjoyed the outdoor onsen and sauna after a full day on the slopes. The breakfast time was from 7am till 8.30 which was early and didn’t allow for a sleep-in with tired kids One day we arrived just after 8 and there wasn’t much left :-(. There wasn’t much variation in the menu so was a bit annoying for one of our fussy eater kids. Also without a car it was difficult to find a shop or restaurant. Much of Hakuba Goryu seemed closed since COVID-19

Great property. I would highly recommend. The very friendly staff. Great onsen facilities for someone new to the experience.

Breakfast was sufficient. It had a mix of western and asian food which is great for this location. Could have vacuumed the stairwell and foyer areas a bit more.

Loved the onsen, staff friendly, helpful and polite. Location fantastic right opposite chair lift and Escale Plaza where it was easy to get a bus anywhere. Breakfast and Japanese style dinner delicious. Handy ski locker room. Could walk to fun restaurants nearby. Nothing.

Dinner. The Japanese dinner is good quality and value for money. Onsen. Onsite onsen with outdoor pool is very nice. Location. It is just a few minutes walk to Goryu Escal Plaza for the lift. However this is not a ski-in/ski-out hotel. Pick up from bus atop. There was no pick up from bus stop on the road outside Goryu when the bus doesn't stop at Escal Plaza. Communication. We had email in advance a couple of times to check on pick up service and there was no reply.

Exceptional

Oh where to start, we absolutely loved everything about this place. The beautiful food for breakfast with an amazing view, the staff always polite and helpful. Location was perfect, only a 2 min walk to the mountain and lifts! The spa, sauna and bathrooms were beautiful and clean. There is also a lift which makes getting to levels really quick and accessible. They also provide fresh towels, bathrobes and toiletries. Oh and the dinner at the restaurant is something we’d recommend everybody to try too! Going home after staying here, haha.

The hotel is conveniently located near the ski resort. Unfortunately we only managed to get a room with shared bathroom. Thus it is inconvenient to go to the bathroom during the night.
