The hotel has been renovated to honor Helmut Schmidt and took me down memory lane (down to his coat and hat hanging near the front desk and soft music from the 60s and 70s). The facilities are modern and our suite was spacious; furnished with large, comfortable chairs and two tables. I recommend the breakfast buffet and the largely complimentary evening meal which is only 7.5 euros per person. The hotel has a nice selection of wines and beers and an inviting lobby that invites lingering. Perfect stay

Loved staying here. As other said, location is super central and right next to the metro station. Just 35-40 minutes from the airport and easy to get to. Room was great and bed very comfortable. It was cool they took an old building and modernised while keeping some of the original elements. NA

Location is great, room is comfortable and well-appointed, breakfast was delicious, and the lobby fun and relaxing. The laundry in the basement was an unexpected bonus. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. The breakfast area was small and got crowded easily. The restaurant allowed two people to sit at four top tables, limiting the opportunities for our group of three to sit together.

Lovely hotel in a great location, very close to the U Bahn and easy walking to the old town and centre. Very tastefully decorated, lovely bar area and the breakfast was very good quality. Staff were great, very helpful and cheerful. The open bathroom was a bit weird.

Friendly helpful staff. We were able to park motorbike in Hotel courtyard instead of car park a street away. A quiet location, but close to town centre. Have stayed here before, would recommend.
