Was a very quite place. Neighbors "other guests" walking in the corridor always wake me up..

Close to city Super small and uncomfortable bed, walls had brown marks, and the towels were dirty.

Quite room and good location Room is in a very bad conditions and several things are broken. I did read that it was an old hotel, however this is no excuse for not maintaining it well. Shower is in the same room as the bed and the tapestry is really suffering from this. Light above sink was broken and also handle of the toilet door. I do think cleaning stuff is doing a good job, however with everything being badly maintained it just looks very grimy (or at least the room I stayed in). I think I also payed for better internet as I had to do some work from the room but they just gave me access to the standard WiFi.

I like the fact that it was near the Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hbf), like a 3-4 mins walk. During the night, we couldn't sleep properly as everywhere around us was noisy. We could hear people walking on top of us the whole night, the floor makes a lot of noise (it's out of shape), there were not enough facilities in the bathroom. The elevator also made strange noises in the night. The NIGHT TIME was the most problematic. There was an irregular temperature switch in the room. There was not even a fan for us to put on if we felt hot. Trust me, it was hot. We could only open the windows, which was a little risky as the top AND the sides would open, and at some point, the window would collapse. We also had to pay a lot of hidden taxes when we arrived there. There are barely staff who work the night hours. We fortunately got help from other tourists who were staying there. They should add all hidden fees and taxes when advertising.

Right next to the train station The checkin procedure was annoying. Demanding a photo of my passport be sent through whatsapp, and a separate payment be made for city fees by paypal - this should be coordinated through the booking, not with dodgy outside methods. I also never saw anyone who worked there. The room was extremely basic, and old. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillow was a rag
