Nothing This is a hostel that self-identifies as a hotel. It should be illegal to name it a hotel. Also, the price is not low for what it offers. You can find similar prices close to the city centre in an actual hotel. I did not see any receptionist or a reception desk! It is located in an industrial section of the city. There is a huge construction project all around the building. No elevator; narrow stairs. It is probably fine for a single men who work in construction around the building. They have private rooms (as a hostel), but mine was in the attic with steeply sloped ceilings. I repeatedly had to be careful not to hit my head. A small roof window was positioned directly over the bed on the ceiling. The only apparent source of fresh air was this roof window, which had no insect screen or protective mesh. I booked a twin-bed room. However, the room had a single bed. The owner is super rude. The moment I got into the building, I asked for cancellation. I even asked for a reduction in one night's payment and to return the other 3 nights. I left immediately and had to book another place. I think they are making money by claiming to be a hotel and putting photos of one room or somewhere else; when people want to cancel, they don't return the money. In our country and most places, this is called fraud. They are still advertising as a hotel here. I do not recommend it for tourists (it is far from everything), solo women travellers and anyone who cares about what I mentioned, like the lack of an elevator. I have been to many cheap hotels; this is way below the norm. This is not the first time that questionable partners have been allowed on Booking.com. The platform’s regulations lack meaningful oversight and control over the process. It appears that Booking.com is more concerned with collecting its share of the revenue than ensuring that its partners operate honestly and responsibly.

currently no parking is possible due to construction works

It was clean and warm. Staff was friendly. There was a construction during the day and it was loud. In the night, some guests made noise. Once our room was tried to be opened by one of the guests. It locates in an industrial region and you need to walk slightly more than 1km to reach Harburg center or take the hourly buses.

No breakfast, but great value for the price.

The room was very quiet and clean. The location was far away from the airport

Nothing The rude staff. She didn’t reply when I said good morning. She lied and said she didn’t work there. The property manager was rude on the phone and refused to cancel my booking on the 24th even though I had 2 separate overlapping bookings that day (the day before my birthday). The maid service tried repeatedly to enter my room without knocking. Terrible location. Garbage bin out front brought smell and flies in the room. Bus runs once an hour and takes 2 buses 25 minutes to arrive to Phoenix Center/Harburg train station, when a taxi takes 6 minutes. No microwave or refrigerator. I had to waste money on food delivery daily. Loud truck traffic on main road in front of the hostel. Ruined my birthday. Waste of money. TV remote didn’t function properly either.
