    - Good location with public transport in the vicinity - Comfortable room and bed - Clean bathroom - Easy contactless check in The pillow had a really strong smell of old sweat. Like someone who didn’t wash their hair for weeks had slept on it and it wasn’t cleaned properly. I had to make a makeshift pillow out of towels.

Seemingly newly renovated student / worker accommodation Nice bed, good desk, pretty efficient use of small spaces with AC, heating and opening windows. In a good neighbourhood close to shops and PT Laundry in basement with that is accessible via smartphone ap that works Tiny pillows Awkward petite kitchen space Just a little cumbersome as there isn't anywhere to let dishes dry Despite being non-smoking building Plenty of guests were clearly smoking in their rooms

The door code didn't work, but someone else was entered so I got in and could then program my key card. Fire alarm went off. No one from HUB was around. fire workers simply broke into the office to stop the ringing, this after at least an hour in the street. I missed my evening out.

I was a little late but fortunately there was still someone at reception. I suppose some day I’ll get used to automated check-in, but it’s nice to be greeted by an actual human. No place to hang wet towels or robe in bathroom.

Communication was very clear and staff were super helpful - I was staying in the city to do the marathon and was put into one of the quieter rooms without any hassle. Location of the apartments is also good for S-bahn connection to city and airport. Plenty of supermarkets are also close by and the kitchen was well equipped (including Nespresso machine!) for stating a few nights. Cleaners knocked on my door at around 8am on my last day. I appreciate they have a tight schedule to sort the rooms out, but it felt a little invasive.

It was quite! Although I contacted them several times and emphasized that I preferred a room on a higher floor, they still gave us a room on the ground level. There were free rooms on higher floors, but they didn’t give us one. So, I consider this weak service. On the day we were checking out, our room key didn’t work, and there was no one at reception. I called them, and it took a while to replace our key contactlessly. It was stressful, and we were about to miss our flight because of this inconvenience! Otherwise, everything was good.

I love the staff here. Petra, the receptionist made me feel like home. Thank you, Petra and all the best to you! The house- keeping staff are very helpful, especially the lady. She is so lovely, warm-hearted, simply a beautiful soul. I hope they will keep these wonderful people for a long time. They are just perfect to work in a hospitality setting. The water and shower are very good, just like at home, adequate flow and very clean. I hate it when hotel shower drips slowly (instead of flowing adequately) as it takes a long time to shower. Bed linen smell fresh and clean. Definitely I was given a new set. This is a big plus from me. We all know when linen has not been changed. Thank you house-keeping staff! The roof top is a good spot to sunbake as they provide bed, table and chair. There are laundry facilities although you have to pay for it. it's a bit far, about 25 minutes by S train to HBF. The area is a migrant area with mostly African and Middle Eastern residents. Some drunkards and homeless people hang out on the park side of the building near the museum. I just avoided them so it's harmless enough. The kitchen knife is extremely small and it is so easy to cut your fingers (because the tiny knife makes it very awkward to use). Would make more sense if there were salt and pepper, and kitchen paper towel. Rooms are facing the main road so it is noisy.

The location is very good: 3 min walk from the S-Bahn station "Harburg Rathaus". The room is small but has all necessary things. At night, I could see through my window a nice painting of a mammoth in one of the rooms of the Archeology museum nearby. Getting access to the room on arrival was a terrible experience! I arrived on Sunday evening. On Sunday morning (ca. 9 a.m.) I called the reception and asked for the check-in code. The lady on the phone convinced me that everything is okay and I will get my code at about 12 p.m. I got nothing. And nobody was available on phone at already 2.30 p.m. I called multiple times, sent messages though booking.com, sent e-mails. Silence! On my way, I started already seraching for other hotels, although the room in HUB was already paid. When I arrived to HUB apartments, there was an "emergency" phone number near the entrance door outside. I called this number and at that very moment someone went out of the main door and I could get inside the building. Then I was instructed by phone, where to find the entrance card and how to charge it. So, the happy end, but I was in despair during the whole trip because till the very last moment I did not know whether I get my room or not. Two weeks later, I stayed again in HUB apartments for work purposes. This time I received an email with the access code. But! When I arrived, I found one lady sitting in the lobby in full despair. Why? As you may guess, she did not get her access code! Moreover, inside the building in the lobby, there was some contact number given, which she called but the person on phone said that don't know how to help. The lady was not from Germany, she had no internet to look for other hotel... Sunday evening after 7 p.m.! Then I told her my story and we found out that the "emergency" contacts written outside and inside the building were different. And it was my great luck that last time I called the "outside" number. So, when the lady called the "outside" number, she also got the help and could reach her room. But what is this?! The owners definitely know that emails with the access code are often not delivered.
