Golden Legend Boutique Hotel

I actually booked the Deluxe Double Room, but Andrew from the reception upgraded me to the Junior Suite for free. It was more spacious, quieter, and had a bigger balcony. The bed was soft, and so were the pillows. As someone who had been traveling and transferring from one hotel to another, I really appreciated having a good night’s sleep. The staff were helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. They asked how I’d been, offered me a map if I wanted to explore the city, gave me complimentary drinks and fruits, and even held an umbrella for me while I got into the taxi so I wouldn’t get soaked in the rain. It’s the little things like these that made my stay memorable. This hotel has definitely earned a place on my favourites list. I’ll be back the next time I visit. Nothing really.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The cleanliness, hospitality, and overall service exceeded our expectations. We would especially like to thank Mr. Roger and Mr. San for their outstanding kindness and support. They were always friendly, professional, and ready to help us with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome and made the hotel feel like a home away from home. Thank you, Mr. Roger and Mr. San, for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to stay here again! ⭐ Need upgrade air condition.

Reception staff was very attentive, welcoming and helpful. They spoke good English. Room was very comfortable and clean. Decor lives up to the word "boutique" in it's name. Would book again on next trip to Hanoi. The balcony was a bit tiny but it comes with being in the heart of Hanoi.

The location. We got a room with air conditioner that didn’t work. Asked for a new room but was told that all rooms were occupied. Until I said that I would give them “true review” then suddenly that was another room “available”. The breakfast was poor. Was pretty pricey but didn’t live it up at all. Would not recommend this hotel to others.

Breakfast was a simple buffet but sufficient and delicious. Location is great with short walks to main attractions. Staff were very nice and helpful. Nothing really. The hotel is perfect for budget travellers travelling with their friends / family / kids who want to explore the city without paying a lot for their accommodation yet have a comfortable convenient clean stay. So with no fancy 5 stars expectations, the hotel is perfect.

Location and the staff We had a wonderful stay! We originally booked a double room at Golden Legend Boutique Hotel, but were upgraded and moved to a bigger room. Staff are very welcoming and helpful, friendly, we enjoyed our stay due to the staff they are very friendly and accommodating :) Wish the breakfast can extend to 10AM instead of 930AM as our toddler is a late sleeper :)

Our room was neat, and they changed our bath towels daily while also refilling our water bottles regularly. The breakfast was good, and the location was excellent — just a short walk to food stalls and souvenir shops. Overall, we had a great stay. The only downside was that the price was a bit high during our booking dates due to holidays. Comments: 1. I would just prefer a closed wardrobe instead of an exposed hanged one. 2. If possible, a Blackout curtains so the room won’t be too bright in the morning. 3. Provide floor mats in the bathroom to help prevent the floor from getting wet and slippery specially going in and out from the bathroom.

We showed up at the hotel and were told that they did not take credit card , this was after booking online with booking.com and being told we could pay with credit card. We left the hotel to go to another hotel that would take credit card and then 2 days later my credit card was charged at the hotel that supposedly could not accept credit card. Avoid this hotel. Scammers Lies

Pros 1. Room was clean and nice. Bathroom was great. 2. Nice location on an alleyway. It was nice not being on a main road. Cons 1. The AC does not get very cold. I would constantly sweat at night. 2. The charge 5% fee for using a credit card. I stayed in Vietnam for 2.5 weeks and they were the only hotel that charged this fee. They also tried to tell me initially that they only took cash, which I told them I didn’t have sufficient and that they should have publicized that on the site and I would have booked elsewhere. They then stated they accepted card payment but that they would charge me a 5% fee.

very clean, comfortable and it’s a quiet place, good for sleeping, no big street wich makes a lot of noise. well, in the old quarter mostly all hotels and rooms aren’t big, so for sleeping and explore the city at day times it’s really okay the size, even for bigger people. Enjoy ?

Very nice and clean place. We enjoyed our stay so much, we spent 3 nights here and the location is so close to everything.

Great room. Friendly staff. Wouldn’t recommend the laundry service, took two days and they forgot one of my clothes. Breakfast wasn’t great, flies on the fruit.
