Big room and comfortable bed. Room was clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Old style charm. Super location. Good value for money Staying in the ninth floor and elevator only goes to 8th. So we walked the last floor. TV was not working properly.

The people make the place! Great service from everyone at Golden Sunshine - from arranging tours and transportation assistance, to breakfast service - Nam was my favorite. Great location in Hanoi, easy access to most points of interest and restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. None

The breakfast was good. The location is also good as the church was walking distance and other attractions are also nearby. We booked one room i believe, but they provided us with 2 rooms which was nice. The staff are really patient,polite and good english speaking. We also booked their tour packages for sapa, ninh binh which included transportation, food ,some tour guides and a 4 star cruise. It was worth the money and we enjoyed the experience in vietnam. They booked all the places we stayed in sapa and ninh binh. The place at Sapa (My Boutique hotel i believe) was really good and recommended as well. nothing i believe. everything was up to our satisfaction However, the place they booked for us in ninh binh was a bit less as the bathroom tap water was not a bit usable for us. BUT (ninh binh) they had a nice swimming pool with good depth and was very relaxing so overall, very good indeed. Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos of the rooms but will include photos of the tour package.

Appartment should have few more saucers and cutlery for a family. Including a heating stove.

The bathroom had mold, and the furnishings were outdated, in worse condition than shown in the photos. The bed was uncomfortable. Overall, it was overpriced.

It needs some maintainance, but it's overall ok for a short stay. Good value for money.

Kevin was a great communicator, even before the trip. Very helpful. Room was huge, good that all 5 of us were in the same room. Allowed us to leave our luggages while we went to Nihn Bihn for 3D2N & while we went for last min shopping. Breakfast was good. Reception & breakfast area very small. Common toilet is more for staff.

The location could not have been better. Great breakfast. Best of all was the staff, particularly Kevin, who could not have been more helpful. Kevin helped plan and book my trip to Ha Long Bay (great trip) and he was so quick with all questions I had along the way (including on Tet when he was on holiday)! Absolutely superb service!

Excellent location in the Old Quarter. The staff were super helpful about all things in Hanoi. They arranged a fantastic trip to Ninh Binh as well. Great selection of choices for the complimentary breakfast as well.

Any time I walked in with groceries or needed help, they would immediately run over and assist. Their kindness really stood out. The room was larger than most hotels in this price range, which was a nice surprise. It is not the newest room, but everything worked fine. The bed was very firm, so it was not the most comfortable, but this seems to be common in Vietnam. I did find a few small bugs, though a bit of bug spray quickly took care of them. The location is also excellent. It is right in the old city with plenty going on, a supermarket directly across the street, and lots of shops nearby. It is a perfect area to stay. One thing I really appreciated was that they stored my luggage for 2.5 weeks while I traveled to other parts of the country. That level of service was amazing. Overall, it was a good place to stay with exceptionally kind staff and great value for the room size and support they provide. I would stay here again.

Location, staff are really nice and helpful It’s dated. Tissue holder fell off. Soap dispenser not attached properly. They forgot to empty the garbage from previous guest.

Very friendly helpful staff and a great central location within walking distance to many places. The breakfast buffet isn't huge but there are lots of options you can order off the menu which is great.

Our stay at Golden Sunshine Villa Hotel was absolutely excellent. From the moment we arrived, Kevin went above and beyond to make our experience smooth and memorable. He helped us arrange airport transfers, book an incredible Ha Long Bay cruise, secure tickets to the water puppet show, and organize our return trip to the airport — truly exceptional service. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the breakfast options were varied and delicious. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Old Quarter in Hanoi, within walking distance of everything you’d want to see or do. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi — and I would definitely stay here again on a future trip. Thank you to Kevin and the entire team for a wonderful stay!
