N/A Cancelled it as no one was there and we couldn’t get our bad up all the stairs. When I did get into the room, there wasn’t electricity and it was dusty!!
-
There were ants all over the apartment. Had ants in my toiletry bag and suitcase after the first night, so everything had to be washed after our stay. It were ants in the kitchen, bathroom, bed, everywhere. This is the worst experience I have ever had

We needed somewhere last minute. They managed to fit us in and were near convenient shops Light switches and lamps didn't work. A kitchen in the room but no cups or anything. Kind of dirty

The electricity system in the house has a big problem. My light turns off immediately when the next room exits and it is really hard to turn it on.

Bed large and comfortable and a good shower. Access to the entrance extremely difficult as it was inside the ground floor café without a reception desk, very confusing for a foreign visitor. Not knowing how to get back in at night when the cafe is closed was initially a major problem. Some details on the booking site would have helped. Ok if guests speak Vietnamese.

location in the best area of Hanoi some very loud music or prayer starting at 8 in the morning. shower pressure was a bit bad also

location and the room is decorated exactly like in the pics. looks very nice inside. No lift and going up a fifth floor with two backpacks steep stairs that are not all the same. The noise of the washing machines on the floor above mine working all night. could have stayed more days if it wasn't this.

The bed is comfortable. Fast internet. Close to cafes, restaurants, mini-markets. The staff try to be helpful. I did negotiate a 15% discount (equated to a free night) because my experience was so bad. This hotel has changed hands and the previous high standard has dropped considerably since I was last in Hanoi (late 2020). Aisha used to be an upmarket, boutique hotel with a wonderful Western/Vietnamese restaurant and English speaking staff. The hotel is now situated behind a local Vietnamese snail restaurant, so it's easy to miss (which I did). The new owners have not updated the pictures of the premises, so I had no idea that it was not what I was expecting. It now looks shabby and is in desperate need of an update. Despite the signage in the room, there is no Reception desk. For what they charge per night, the owners could try much, much harder. - Only supplied two small bottles of water on first day. Did not supply any more - was told I had to buy it myself (correction: I did get two more bottles on my second to last and last day but I'm sure it was to placate me for no water/hot water). - There's a kettle, but no tea or coffee. - Air conditioner didn't work properly. - No hot water on three mornings, then no water all day another time. I asked to get it fixed and it was super slow and painful. In the end, I was moved to another, much smaller room. - No TV remote – was given an excuse about construction blocking the signal (but still no remote for TV). - No cleaning happened in the 7 days I was there and toiletry supplies weren't topped up. - I was on the fifth floor – and there's no lift. If you haven't bad knees or you're unfit, you will struggle. - The staff speak little to no English, which can communication problematic (but Google translate helps).

The location is what makes it so convenient. Also, the staff is nice and friendly. They were being so helpful when I was there! I also tried a lot of good Vietnamese food on their 1st floor. I definitely going to choose this hotel for my next trip here.
