A good location, just next to the convention centre. The host was really helpful and the Full English Breakfast was really good! Easy to park nearby - you just need the permit from the host when you arrive.

Room was clean, small but adequate and had all the coffee/tea supplies etc you might need. Location was perfect. Tabs seemed friendly when we met her and gave us ways to contact her. Bathroom smelt bad on the first night and then we realised it was just because the shower hadn't been run for a while. Tabs seemed welcoming but there was a letter in the bedroom which was a list of rules and do nots including fines for doing certain things which seemed very aggressively worded and felt very un-welcoming. She stated on that letter there was no sound proofing so we were concerned that we would disturb other guests throughout our stay. Wifi was almost non-existent and referred to as "not guaranteed" on the aggressive letter despite being listed on the website. There was renovation work going on so no breakfast etc which was fine because it couldn't be helped. However, I found the exposed carpet tacks on every step of the property somewhat alarming and off putting and that wasn't because of renovation. Should we have raised these issues in person, maybe yes, but if you see the way this person responds to reviews you will see why we did not and none of them she could have fixed at the time.

Friendly and helpful staff, good supply of tea and coffee in the room.

Perfect central location, a short walk from railway/bus station, shops, restaurants, attractions and conference centre. Felt safe (female travelling alone) and welcome. Good value. It wasn't clear in booking.com whether breakfast was included in the price. It wasn't in my case.

Location was fabulous for the conference centre, and the room had all I needed as a solo traveller. Some parts of the hotel were in-between refurbishment. TV didn't work until.remote was replaced,

Our host was lovely and we couldn’t have been better placed in Harrogate It was a bit chilly at times and as the shower room had no heat it was difficult to dry towels

Owner is lovely, breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfy! Nothing

Close to city centre...owner was nice Was a bed sit with what seemed like permanent visitors, advertised wifi but didn't reach our room. Discouraged takeaways saying dining room could be used but was locked up and not accessible. Pictures on site were of dining room with wood burner...room wasn't like that

I loved the location as I was there for conference at Conventional Centre. Also there was so many restaurants and stores nearby. It was around 10 min walk to bus station, so I didn´t have to worry about being late for my bus to the airport. I loved how coffe, tea and some hot chocolate was waiting for me there to be drank. The bed was wonderful, and warm blanket was waiting in the cabinet so I didn´t have to be worried about being cold at night. My room had many storage places, tiny fridge and also iron, it was nice touch. And the lady Tabs - wonderful person, I am really glad that I met her, she was so nice to me and understanding, she made me comfortable during my stay here, it was very nice from her. The only thing that I didn´t like was that I have to leave. I really enjoy staying there, watching thunderstorm from my window in the evening with cup of hot chocolate being wrapped up into warm fluffy blanket. Thank you for making my trip better.
