They tested out the fire alarms one day ( mot too early maybe around 11AM ). It wasn't bad, but we didn't know if it was a test ar a real fire

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at your hotel during my visit to Vietnam in January. After a 24‑hour flight, I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM, exhausted and simply hoping to check in and rest. Upon arrival, I was informed that the room I had booked was not kept for me. I was offered an alternative room instead. Although this was not what I reserved, I agreed, assuming the replacement would be comparable. I was then asked to pay the full amount for my four‑night stay upfront. Since I did not have enough cash at that moment, I deposited 1,000,000 VND with the intention of settling the rest later. However, when I entered the room, it was immediately clear that it was not acceptable. The floor, bathroom, and walls appeared dirty, and the humidity in the room made it feel difficult to breathe. Within ten minutes, I realized I could not stay in those conditions. I returned to the front desk to explain the situation and requested to cancel the room and receive my deposit back. Instead of acknowledging the poor condition of the room, I was told that my deposit would not be refunded and that I would be charged the full price for one night—despite the fact that I did not stay in the room. I was required to pay an additional ~60,000 VND to cover this charge. I attempted to negotiate, but the staff refused to return any portion of my money. I want to be clear: I understand that because I did not prepay, the hotel may not have held my original room. However, once I arrived, I was given a room that was not clean, not comfortable, and not suitable for any guest. Charging me for a night in a room I could not stay in is unreasonable and unfair. This experience left me extremely disappointed, and I will not be returning to this hotel in the future. I hope you will review this situation seriously so that other travelers do not face the same treatment.
