Location and friendly staff The room wasn't clean, hair, ants and stains. The bed mattress was hard, and it gave me back pain every night. There is practically 0 noise cancelation, I could hear everything going on in the hallway. House keeping stars making noise before 7 am, that was super annoying. The breakfast was meh.

The location is genuinely excellent — 5 minutes' walk to Bến Thành Market and easy access to Nguyen Hue, Notre-Dame, and the Post Office. If location were the only thing that mattered, this would score well. The stay started badly. The airport pickup driver was rude on arrival, claiming he'd been waiting two hours despite us sharing detailed flight updates and a WhatsApp message confirming our exact arrival time. There was no reason for him to be there early, and his attitude was uncalled for. The confusion continued at the hotel. The driver then waited at the hotel expecting payment, even though we had booked the airport pickup through the hotel itself and paid them directly. Zero coordination between hotel and driver — and the guest somehow gets put in the middle of it. Reception throughout the stay was unhelpful — staff seemed to be there only to point and direct, never to actually help. At one point we needed a small clarification about Vietnamese currency (it's confusing for anyone first-time — too many zeros), and instead of helping calmly, the receptionist visibly showed frustration. Any experienced hotel receptionist in Vietnam should know visitors will have currency questions and handle them patiently. The room itself had multiple problems. Only one window — and the AC didn't work properly, so the room was very hot. The second AC unit kept switching off and one barely cooled the room. No drinking water was provided. The bathroom cubicle didn't drain, leaving a pool of water on the floor after every shower. Breakfast was average — nothing memorable. For the price and the photos in the listing, we expected significantly better. The location saved this stay from being a write-off, but everything else — service, coordination, room condition — fell short.

The room was spacious. The dining area was clean. The bathroom was very small for a room with two king beds. The sliding door to the stand up shower did not even close all the way. It left a 3-inch gapping space where water splashed out and wetted the floor. I informed the hotel about the shower door and an employee came to inspect. After a 2 second glance at the door and no attempt to fix, the employee said “yeah that’s as much as it can close” and walked out without an another word. I eventually informed the front desk about my experience and disappointment, they apologize and assured they will retrain that employee. All the furniture in the room are outdated. The recessed lights in the room were a bit dark and had two different tones, white and yellow, which can strain the eyes. Overall, a general lack of maintenance of the room.

The location is at the heart of the center of district 1. The room is clean and not small, it was me and my son, we had 2 queen bed, 4 suitcases, that was enough space. The breakfast starts from 6:30, most of the tours are starting at 7 AM. That helps us. The breakfast is very good. Staff is friendly and polite. They are speaking a little English. I would recommend that hotel definitely

I love the place. I feel like home. The staff are very welcoming and they have a great place to hang out. I can also leave my bag after I check out from the place. There is also a shower place to use. I feel very safe and charm in the place.

The room itself wasn’t that clean. There were stains on the sheets and I asked for them to be changed and they were changed to another set of sheets with stains. The trash wasn’t emptied from the last people that stayed there. Breakfast was terrible.
