It was very good. The staff are very helpful & friendly! Anna from your reception desk and Tony from front hotel are “hotels assets”! Keep up the good work. If the hotel could provide a complimentary body lotion/skin cream.

The price was good, there was a park across the street, and it is close to attractions such as the War Remnants Museum, the post office, and Notre Dame (which is currently being restored and cannot be visited). The check-in process was simple and I was able to access my room a little before official check-in time. It would have been nice if the breakfast foods were labeled with common allergens and food restrictions (Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Peanuts, Seafood, etc) so guests could easily tell if the dish was safe. Housekeeping continuously left their cleaning cart in the hallway all day rather than putting it away when they were done cleaning the rooms. Also, there was a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

The hotel's location is great - very central, right across a small park, within walking distance to the main attractions of the city. The area is pleasant and you can find many restaurants, shops, cafes and stores nearby. The staff is very polite and helpful, the room is spacious and clean. The price was a bit on the higher side for the city but it was definitely worth the comfort. If it was a bit cheaper I would give it a 10. The laundry service is kind of expensive but it was a good quality service.

Location and price

I live in Da Lat and booked 1 night to take care of some business in HCMC. Checked in, running around all day, got back to the hotel around 20:00 and there was no water in our room. No water was set out on our floor for guests either. I went down to the lobby and asked for water for our room and the reception directed me to the "lounge" area just outside the front doors and pointed to a small cooler with a few bottles of cold water. I asked for two, which they handed to me. I said thank you and started to go back to our room and was immediately surrounded by 3 employees blocking me against the window. One asked 'how are you going to pay for that, sir?' "Seriously? There's no water in my room at all." "Yes" "Isn't there any complimentary water for guests?" "No. How do you pay for this?” Ended up paying 120k for two 8oz bottles (that usually cost me 5k), then they let me go. Total scam. I've never stayed at any hotel here that refused to provide free water for guests. Maybe HCMC is just getting this bad. Electronic door lock didn't want to lock half of the time. Hard to make it work either inside or outside the room. Went to breakfast upstairs at 06:10 for maybe 15 mins. Came back and we were totally locked out of the room. Went down to the lobby to get help back into our room. The receptionist tried to argue we already checked out, which we certainly were not. They had to send someone up to let us into our room again and give us a new keycard. Room felt too small. Beds and bedding were pretty uncomfortable. Didn't sleep well. Not enough towels. Complimentary breakfast had no vegetarian food other than white bread, some sliced cucumbers and steamed potato wedges. Awful. Price was 50% discounted for the off-season so not too expensive for HCMC, which isn't saying much. Way too expensive at normal rate though. I've stayed more comfortably at motels, tbh.

The location, staff and room was exactly what we needed after a very long flight. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety to choose from. Nothing. We would definitely return.

It is in the city, and you can hear karaoke. More vegan breakfast options would be appreciated.

Location is good. Bathroom, find the cockroaches in our room, and staffs.

The location The beds were so uncomfortable it was impossible to sleep, we ended up booking another hotel all together. We also asked for extra blankets and covers to try to salvage it but it was never delivered. We ended up only staying 1 night.

Very courteous staff, safe, clean and in an excellent walkable location for most must see areas.

Fantastic location and staff

The room was quite old and out dated. Our room was in the 3rd floor and corridor was so stinky because of the trolley they kept there every night. Breakfast was ok but could be improved.

Absolutely great hotel near the centre of Ho Chi Minh - a bit dated but with professional staff and delicious breakfast. The only drawback is not a very hot water in the shower.

To much small fly in the room and bathroom, staffs are nice but a little shine

The pros: the staff were so hospitable, warm and kind! The location was central and very walkable to shopping, tourist attractions, and restaurants. The cons: our room was disappointing. Our party had three rooms under two bookings. I think I got the wrong class of room but didn't want to say anything as we could tolerate for 3 nights. Room was grungier than expected and cleaning standard was not great. There is no soundproofing so could hear street noises and every single hallway noise, including cleaning and maintenence staff. Our room was non-smoking, but man down the hall was smoking in his room, causing the hallway to smell. Not good if you are sensitive to smoke! Overall, as kind as the staff were and great location, I will probably try a different hotel next time.

Good location&breakfast. Its good value for money. My room had high humidity.
