Didn't enjoy the bling of the LED strip lighting on the facade and the modern signage was out of place with the colonial style - the jarring prints on the lift doors! The shower plumbing was dangerously inconsistent from cold to scorching hot instantly

A beautiful hotel with decent room. I had very negative feeling about the front desk management, but felt positive about the floor and bell men, and breakfast buffet service. Stupid management. I read and knew that JFK stayed here in 1951 when he was a congressman, 2 years before becoming a senator and 10 years before being US president. I asked where he stayed and about other celebs like Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, Catherine DeNeuve who had stayed here. They were so cagey about it and wouldn't tell me. They didn't know how to showcase their heritage, like the Saigon Morin in Hue and the Hotel Continental nearby. This pos management even tried to switch my room to an inferior one without a balcony. Wtf? Why these guys even work in the hospitality industry, much less to manage a heritage hotel? Pos, pos!

This is a beautiful, luxury hotel at an incredibly reasonable price. The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast is fabulous. We changed our mind on the twin room we'd booked and were given a great price on an upgrade to a suite. Get a river view room if you can (or just go sit in the roof top bar) - watching the river and the street at night is so wonderful! The location and the facilities and the pool at the hotel are fab. Best staff in the world!

The hotel is a lovely old building which has been restored and maintained. The rooms were exceptionally clean and serviced daily, also providing a turn down service at night with a little box of cookies. Breakfast was included in our stay, and has the usual buffet options plus à pho and omelette station, and a banh mi cart. The location is ideal, opposite the river, near the more upmarket shops, amd it’s easy to walk around the neighborhood. The staff were all fantastic - every single one of them. ❤️ Next time I’ll book a balcony room, the view from our window was a bit dismal but doesn’t affect the rating.

It had a great location with all the flavor of the grand epoch it was originally. Lovely, elegant, huge room. Service was impeccable, with even turn down service that gave us cookies every night. The upstairs terrace had the best view at night.

The staff were good. The buffet was excellent and the staff , the cooks at the pho stand, and the manager there were GREAT! Will surely miss them. A standing shower would be great to have. Thank you!
