Great location with kindly staff, join their member to get early check-in and late check-out service. A bit of noise when the night life starts.

Everything else: the windows in the rooms don't block the street noise, the rooms are old, the bathrooms are terrible with no towel hangers (room 1608 had zero hangers, room 1910 had only one hanger for towels; as a result,all our towels were always wet). In 1608, the seams between the tiles in the shower area are 1-2 cm wide (uneven as they run along the floor). The breakfast is mediocre, nothing fancy; any coffee except americano is charged separately (latte is 75K VND). The corridors on the floors smell of cigarettes, possibly because of many Chinese guests. In general, the hotel looks worn out and unkempt. Definitely not worth the money spent.

Breakfast was lousy

Disappointment regarding the handling of my reservation (Dec 1–4). I attempted to shorten my stay by one night, but Booking.com’s system would not allow me to modify the dates. At check-in, I requested the change directly from the hotel, yet I was told it “could not be done” and that I needed to contact Booking.com. When I called Booking.com, I was told the exact opposite—that the hotel had to approve the change. I was left fully charged due to bad communications, negligence, and lack of responsibility and accountability from both parties (hotel and Booking).

No hot water. Had to take cold showers.

Great value, clean located in middle of city downtown. They were nitpicky on some of the charges for breakfast and coffees and required multiple transactions to pay instead of one total.

But the most outstanding point was its staffs : they are all very genuine and helpful, Nhã is the star among them, his assistance is tremendous.

The hotel is conveniently located with many shops and restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Also, everyone was very nice and friendly to us, as well as being very helpful. We have no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be coming back in a couple weeks!

Not good value for money. Renovated but but nice enough. Smoking issue with the room next door and management did nothing.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Signature by M Village Lê Thánh Tôn. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The reception team – especially Tina and Mia – went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. One great example was when they offered to change our booking from a large family suite to two separate rooms at no extra cost, which suited our needs perfectly. The location of the hotel is excellent – just a short walk from many of Saigon’s key attractions, and surrounded by great restaurants. The reception team even helped us choose where to dine and tipped us off about special local events and spa places worth visiting. They also advised us to leave early for the airport due to a planned traffic closure – something we really appreciated. The rooms were spacious, clean, and stylishly decorated, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning. All in all, we’ve rarely experienced such warm and attentive service. The entire front desk team made us feel completely at home. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation. The only minor drawback is that you have to climb 8 steep steps to reach the reception, which could be a challenge if you have limited mobility. But apart from that, everything was perfect.

Nice bed sheets and shower. Do not waste your money here. There are better places to spend $350 AUD per night in Ho Chi Minh City. All the streets around the hotel were closed for a parade, so we had to abandon the taxi and walk 2K. With bags. We arrived at the hotel hot, sweaty and hungry at 7.15pm only to find that the restaurant and room service closes at 7.30pm (yes - that early!!). We were advised to get a Grab takeaway which they would ‘kindly bring to the room’ for us! Cleanliness in the room was average, kitchen benches were sticky. The TV did not work. Had to physically go downstairs to report the faulty TV, because the in-room phone also did not work. It took three staff to fix the TV. The so called ‘upgrade’ (un-asked for I might add) put us us in a room overlooking other bedrooms in an adjoining hotel, rather than the river view we booked (whole point of staying here). When leaving the hotel you have to walk through a throng of smokers. Save your money and stay elsewhere, there are far better places in District 1 for half the price. Be warned.
