Heritage Soul Bungalow Tam Coc

Highly recommend this place to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they even peeled and cut the fruit we brought back to the hotel for our breakfast. The location was 10/10: a stunning view of the rice paddies and mountains, while also being close to the city with restaurants and shops being within easy walking distance. The only inconveniences were that the shower was pretty difficult to regulate at a good temperature and the pillows were uncomfortable.

I recommend staying here. It is close to everything you need but at the same time far from the hustle and bustle. The room was very clean and I especially liked the terrace where you could watch the sunset and admire the rice field that is right in front of you. (don't forget to put on mosquito spray, I was bitten badly).

The staff were warm and friendly. The room had fan or air con (we always chose fan as hate air con so great to have the choice). We had smart flat screen tv too but did not feel the urge to watch it. The views were exceptional and matched the tranquility. The breakfast delicious, the pool refreshing and location perfect - a short walk from busy Tam Coc but seemed miles away due to the quiet. I particular loved being able to help ourselves to a pushbike and explore the area, just a 20 minute cycle on the flat to Mua Cave. We were 2 oldies and we met up with my travelling son - who loved to dive in the cool pool of a morning. He loved it here too! I cannot find fault, except to say I wish we could have stayed longer

Location and view Basic breakfast menu but filling. As mention in other reviews the water temperature fluctuates from cold to scalding hot. Hot enough to cause burns if you’re not quick to get away.

Tom was an amazing host! The pool, garden and surrounding area is beautiful and in a good location. The room was clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay.

Hot water in the shower was scolding in two of our rooms and it would not seem to get colder even through trying. Fridge in the room we didn’t use because they were really really loud.

The staff is the kindest I ever met, including the white cat!

Excellent location, away from town to avoid the noise, but a short walk to restaurants, etc. Large clean room with a great view over the flooded rice paddy. Friendly staff, and a good breakfast. I will return again if I am in Tam Coc.

For the most part, they have a great staff. We also liked the pool and the view from the pool. There was a miscommunication and the manager/owner did not respond professionally. I have been told that he has now left.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing: incredibly friendly and always going above and beyond to help with anything I needed. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, and the location was perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the main area. They also offer bikes, which we used to explore the surroundings - such a lovely touch. I highly recommend this place and would happily stay again.

I felt like I was at home. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, views are breathtaking, and staff was attentive. They saw I was traveling alone and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. I shared meals with them and was invited out. I will never forget the kindness they have shown me here. If you're looking for a place in Tam Coc, save time and just book this one. That I couldn't stay longer.

The property was beautiful. We arrived in the dark so in the morning and audibly said to myself “wow.l the property is stunning, 5 minutes from the Main Street but quiet enough to be away from the activity. Tom, the home stay host, was a million out of 10. Was so accommodating and went out of his way to help with every little thing in planning our trip, making sure we had cash, a motorbike, fixing a rip in some pants of ours, hanging out in the evening to share stories. This was my first time in any home stay situation and I loved it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Tom Coc, it’s in the right side of the main area to have some quiet sleep. Great value for the price. Felt very taken care of, was sad to go. Loved it all.

The rooms were spotless and the staff were very friendly. We took the overnight bus and arrived in the morning. We were given breakfast and the room was ready for us immediately. I understand this won’t always be possible but it did demonstrate excellent customer service. The hotel is also near to town but is set in the most tranquil scenery of rice fields and limestone hills. Nothing
