Liberty Hall Tam Coc Hotel & Villa

Our room has a good view of the scenery around. The bed is big and comfortable. The breakfast is good and the breakfast area looks out to a nice view of nature. The staff are extremely helpful.

The location just a short walk from Tam Coc town. The view from the room and the rooftop bar of the rice paddies and mountains. The staff were very friendly. The free bikes were handy. The pool was lovely, clean and cool. The breakfast was nice and we loved the boutique style of the hotel, nice and small and homely.

Beautiful rooftop to look out over the rice fields. Very nice breakfast with a lot of variety. Calm area where the hotel is located. Short walk to shopping and restaurants. I would stay there again.

Nice small amenities that were nice. Great view, good rooftop bar, had bikes available, place away from the chaotic and loud crowded parts of Ninh Binh.

The location, rooftop view and the staff were fantastic! Breakfast was very good. Rooms could do with a little updating. ( carpeting, etc)

A great location and views, quiet but walkable to the center, the rooftop bar is good. The front desk manager is helpful. Good breakfast. It’s quite old although clean and well-maintained. They didn’t give me water the second day. The motorbikes next door are beyond terrible — I changed 3 and still couldn’t start in for a while in some far away areas. The hotel manager tells you to rent in town instead but I ran around and couldn’t find another rental place. Breaks and lights don’t work either, be careful.

We loved the location and went for several runs through the surrounding fields and karst. The breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful when we needed to extend our booking by a day. The music from the bar can be loud depending on the room but the staff were willing to turn the volume down later in the evening.

Location, the staff are so remarkable with Mr. Lu’s presence, the bartender, the cleaners, the waiter , the chef everyone in that Hotel. None except one I forgot to mention about the lock of one of the sliding door not working but despite with that it is so safe.

Central location in Ninh Bình near restaurants and cafes. We only stayed one night but we thought the room was comfortable and breakfast was fabulous. If you’re there around sunset do not miss the rooftop for a sundowner! Nothing

It was in a perfect location, the pool was relaxing, and the breakfast was good! The staff were super accommodating to our needs. Nothing

The hotel is in a great spot overlooking the rice paddies and the surrounding area. The rooftop was excellent to spend the late afternoon enjoying the view. The free bikes were great to use as well. The front desk was helpful with organising a private car for day trips and suggesting places to go. Unfortunately, our room could have been a lot cleaner - anything above eyelevel needed attention - the top of the TV, the ornate wood carving features on the sides of the bed were all very dusty, the bathroom window flyscreen was so thick with dust etc - the room just did not feel clean.... The shower drain became blocked in the middle of each use and the shower floor would fill with water which felt unsanitary. The "cook" at breakfast did not practice good food safety and hygiene. Scrolling on his phone when not cooking eggs or pancakes - and then using his fingertips to turn over the pancake and lifting it onto the plate was really awful to see - I found it hard to eat the breakfast after witnessing this. There was also concern that the reception wanted to place a surcharge on credit cards to pay the balance of our booking.com room rate - we disputed this with Management and highlighted that the surcharge should be noted on their listing to warn guests. The surcharge was waived but they were not very happy about it. We did not feel the hotel was value for money - it was one of the most expensive stays during our time in Vietnam - we understand the area is emerging in tourism, but attention to detail such as cleaning and maintenance does not need to be sub-standard.

Superb

Very friendly and capable staff. Room was comfortable. Laundry rates were reasonable, and clothes came back clean. There was building work directly to the front and side of the hotel with looooong working days, and a lot of noise! Obviously it's not the fault of the hotel or staff, but it did take the shine off our stay. Beds were a touch on the hard side. Also, breakfast wasn't fantastic.

The view of the rice fields from my room. Location is good. Nearby downtown Tam Cốc with restaurants & convenience stores. Manager Tu was very nice. The bathroom was not good! The water got stuck on the third day of stay & housekeeping had to clear it up. Also when I checked out, housekeeping said one of small jars of shampoo/ conditioner/ body lotion was missing & accused me of breaking that jar! Truth was I brought my own shampoo & conditioners & Dove soaps to use since I had eczema & couldn’t use the other soaps than Sensitive Dove! I had not paid attention to theise jars & I did not really know how many jars they left in our room for use. My husband said he only saw 2 bottles on the first day. If we had ever broken any jar, housekeeping who cleaned my room should have noticed it when they cleaned my room everyday. This made me very upset since this was the first time in almost 30 years of traveling, I was accused of breaking such a supply! I gave housekeeping tips every day but I had fever suspected they thought of I stole or broke such a cheap thing! (Only cost probably 1 or 2 dollars!) Finally the receptionist guy didn’t ask me to pay for it.
