Tam Coc Eco Field Homes

The breakfast was enjoyable and provided a good start to the day. There was a reasonable selection, and the food was fresh and well prepared. The location was perfect, with many of Hanoi's main attractions, restaurants and cafés all within easy walking distance. We honestly didn't have any major concerns during our stay. Everything was well organised, and the team made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

Booked two rooms long time in advance. The day before we were told there were no available rooms. When we arrived 8pm in the evening we were put into another hotel in the back of the unfinished parts of the hotel with a lot of construction and the lock being broken on one of the doors. Had to move hotels.

The bikes are free to rent, however many of the bikes need repair and an upgrade.

Lovely pool to cool down

Everything was wonderful! Especially Lisa and her family. Nice pool, good breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms, easy walk or e-bike ride to town, restaurants, caves, and river cafes. Thank you, Lisa for everything! Not a thing!

The pool was well kept and nice to spend time at during the hot days. Opportunities to rent motorbikes and bikes which was a fun adventure. Lisa provided recommendations for activities and restaurants and made sure that we arrived safely. She also gave little goodie bags before leaving. It was a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

It is a lovely homestay in a great location, and breakfast was delicious! But, really, it is Lisa and Linda that make this place stand out above all the places we stayed in Vietnam. I'm sure there are a ton of great homestays in the area, but just book this one! You won't regret it.

From the moment we arrived, Lisa, Linda, and everyone at this beautiful homestay treated us like family. During our stay, my daughter became very sick, and I was scared, exhausted, and overwhelmed. These incredible people stepped in with a level of care, compassion, and generosity that I will never forget for the rest of my life. They helped us get to the hospital, stayed involved, checked on her constantly, and made sure we were okay every single moment. Because my daughter could only eat very specific foods, they lovingly prepared special meals for her themselves when we could not eat anywhere else. Every meal was made with so much care and kindness. They thought of absolutely everything. They arranged taxis for us, helped organize activities, guided us with anything we needed, and somehow always appeared the second we needed help. At one point I mentioned wanting a banana for my daughter, and when they did not have one, they literally took me into town to buy one. That is the kind of people they are. Before we left, they even packed us food and water for the drive. I have traveled to many places, but I have never in my life felt so genuinely cared for by the people at a hotel. Their warmth, hospitality, kindness, and pure goodness went so far beyond customer service. It felt personal. It felt real. It felt like home. When we left, I honestly felt emotional saying goodbye because they had become so special to us in such a short time. This is not just a place to stay. It is a place filled with beautiful human beings who care deeply about their guests. If you are coming to Tam Coc, please stay here. It was one of the most meaningful and unforgettable experiences of our entire trip to Vietnam. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart. We will never forget you.

Hidden, quiet, and beautiful

Friendliest staff ever!! amazing quiet location, and very beautiful and clean rooms.

It was away from the chaos but still close enough that we enjoyed going everywhere by bicycle. Wasn’t used to having a pay to rent the bicycle other places we stayed there were free 50,000 per bike per day. When we checked out new person checking in so no good by or water for road like the other guests received.

The location was great, just 500 metres away from the town which made it quiet. The staff were so friendly and helped us plan what to do when in Tam Coc and Ninh Binh. The breakfast was beautiful but limited choices. The rooms were large and the facilities were pretty good with a large pool in the front of every room. One of the rooms was not cleaned properly before we arrived and there was no daily clean so it remained like that for our stay. It wasnt a major issue otherwise we would have reported it. The road into Tam Coc is a little dangerous at night as it barely fits a car so there is no room for a pedestrian

The personal treatment! Linda and Lisa were super helpful and incredibly kind. They organized the my train ticket, transfer, everything. The place has a great vibe and one can tell they really enjoy welcoming their guests and making their stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing to say.
