Limestone Boutique Hotel

Just checked out from my stay at Limestone View Homestay and all I can say is that this home is an incredible place to see Ninh Binh from. The location is excellent because it’s such a quick ride to all the major tourist attractions, but it’s secluded enough to get a break from the city. The family who owns and runs the home-stay are so kind and thoughtful. Breakfast is offered every morning upon request and all the ingredients are picked up the same morning at a local market. Our breakfast of Bun Cha was the best I’ve eaten through my stay in Vietnam. And the views! Oh my GOD the view from the rooms and the rooftop pool and the dining area are unreal. It feels like looking at a postcard, but it’s right in front of you. The room was clean, the bed was nice and firm, and the ac unit cooled the room down to about 70*F. And then to top it off, the host family greets you by name when you walk in, gives you a hand drawn map of the local sights to see and places to eat, and will help you flag down your Grab driver. My husband and I loved our stay here. We felt so welcomed from the second we stepped inside. The next time we’re in Ninh Binh, we won’t stay anywhere else, and we’ll be encouraging our parents to stay here as well. Thank you to Mr. Dzung and your family for an incredible experience! Amazing location and the perfect base for us to explore the area. I can’t recommend the location enough there is great views from every room. The host and his wife are incredibly kind and helped us plan and coordinate everything we wanted to do in the area. Gave great recommendations for where to eat as well. Trust them! Nothing really, everything was better or above expectations.

We enjoyed this part of our trip so much. While we were very comfortable and well taken care of while we were there, we really enjoyed having conversations and getting to know Dzung and his family. His pride for his home, the area surrounding, and his country is evident and appreciated.

Everything! It was beautiful and clean and Dzung and his family made the stay so great. We felt totally welcomed, they made us breakfast every morning and helped with everything we could have possibly needed. Can’t recommend staying here enough

This is a small family run guest house. It’s located in a local village in a quieter area surrounded by incredible scenery. The location is really convenient to get to the different tourist attractions or into Ninh Binh city/Hoa Lu. Lots of restaurants a short walk or cycle away. Our room was huge, it had everything we needed, a big comfortable bed, great shower and a nice balcony with chairs. The place was very clean. There’s also a really nice rooftop with a long swimming pool. The hosts were amazing. They’re genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. They’re the type of hosts you remember years later. They also make a really nice breakfast and are really flexible with the time so you won’t miss out if you actually want to sleep in a bit on your vacation.

We loved staying here at Limestone View. We had a stunning view from our room, and I mean stunning! The pool area was very lovely, pool looked spotless. Sadly because of a lot of rain we never ended up using it. We really liked the location. The little walk across the causeway between the rice fields was a really nice way to get to town, 5-10 minute walk, especially beautiful returning at night. It was nice not to be in the chaos of town but immersed in nature instead. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Of course a highlight of the stay was how lovely the sisters who run the place are, always a smile and a little chat. Helpful when needed. The room was quite simple, everything functioned well, clean and comfortable. No problem for us, all the good points outweighed that, but if you are after luxury probably not the place for you.

Limestone View was absolutely perfect in many ways. First, the owner, and his wife, Dep, are gracious and very generous. Dzung provided us with nice bikes to view the area and suggested beautiful routes to ride away from the noise and traffic of Tam Coc. The room was spacious and quiet with serene views. Morning breakfasts were ample with incredible Vietnamese coffee. It was Dzung and his boutique hotel that swayed us to spend another day in this beautiful and serene area. Highly recommend! Very nice owners and extremely helpful and accommodating. Great location and good views from the rooms. Breakfast was simple, but good and filling. Large, clean room, nice balcony. Quiet. The room, while nice, was not very well appointed, especially considering its size, there was a lot of unused open area. The couch was far too small, barely large enough for 2 people to squeeze into. A room that size should have a larger couch, several chairs, and a desk. Aloso, odd choices on where money was spent, as an example, the floors and wall were all tiled in marble, but there were no hooks to hang towels from to dry.

The hosts are superb made me feel like family and explained the area and gave insight for anything and everything needed. The breakfasts and roof top swimming pool was amazing! There is absolutely nothing to dislike about my stay!

In a word, everything. The homestay is located in a quiet part of Ninh Binh that’s very walkable and there are plenty of good local restaurants very close by. The views from the 3rd floor dining area and rooftop deck and pool are spectacular and we loved spending time up there taking in the sites. The host, Dzung, and his family were so welcoming and hospitable doing everything from cooking delicious breakfast to just saying a friendly hello or goodbye when coming or going from the property. Dzung provided great recommendations for how to best see the different tourist sites in the area, where to get a good local meal, and even suggested a lovely biking route through the rice fields one evening. Providing bikes as well! We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have spent more time there!

A fantastic quiet location away from the city. Amongst the locals and walking distance to restaurants. A rooftop pool for those hot days and an easy cycle to Mua Cave, Lying Dragon climb & Trang A boat tours. Dzung and his family are lovely people who will do anything to help you organise a great time. He has free bicycles and organised a well priced private car to Hanoi Airport. Great pancake breakfasts, fresh fruit and spotlessly clean Hotel. I loved the honesty bar fridge. Nothing

Very nice small hotel, very friendly helpful family who run it. Unlike many properties in this rural area, it doesn’t have a garden area, but it does have a nice small roof terrace

Dzung and his wife are probably the kindest, warmest and liveliest hosts in the whole of Vietnam. In addition to everything they did to make us feel comfortable, Dzung brought me a new bike when I got a flat tire and his wife brought me back a piece of jewellery I had forgotten in the room, all the way to the bus station in a pouring rain. The room was very very clean, we were provided fresh towels at mid stay and used the laundry service (30.000 VND/kg). Our family room was very spacious with beautiful marbled walls and floors, big confortable beds and efficient AC and fan. We particularly appreciated the beautiful views from our room and the common areas as well as the refreshing roof top swimming pool. The homestay is ideally located, it is easy to bike to every places of interest and the neighbourhood is in a quieter area than the hyper touristy Tam Coc. Dzung gives great advice on what to visit and when and gave us good recommendations of restaurants that serve local food. Breakfast is great, we had Dzung’s wife delicious banana pancakes on the first day then Vietnamese food twice –always served with fresh juice and fruits. Thanks again Dzung & family for this unforgettable stay. Moving to our next location felt like leaving family!

We had a wonderful stay with Dzung and his family, he really made us feel at home in his house. The homestay is really close to all of the Trang An sites and free bikes allowed us to ride everywhere. The rooms are spacious and clean and the pool on the roof was perfect after a morning spent cycling. Breakfast was delicious with homemade pancakes and fruit. We couldn’t recommend Dzung’s place more, if you’re in Trang An you must stay here Nothing

Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely incredible! The host and his lovely family at Limestone View Homestay are absolutely top-notch. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay with them is absolutely unforgettable. They communicate so well, and the property is simply fantastic. The host is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us the best insights into the area. He recommended so many amazing restaurants, tourist attractions, and even gave us a glimpse into the local way of life in Ninh Binh. It was an absolute delight!

Host was very nice and helpful, room far exceeded expectations for a home stay. Everything in the room was new and very comfortable. The stay included a free bike to use, which was great for exploring the town. Breakfast was tasty, fresh local fruit and banana pancakes one day, fruit and eggs the second morning (you get a choice each day). Would definitely stay here again. Nothing I can think of, this place is perfect!
