Villa Orchid Garden Riverside Hoi An

The hotel is situated close to the busy historic center of Hoi An, which is easy accessible with the free bikes at the hotel provided. We also made every way road trip trips to different parts of Hoi An. The bikes are simple, but they do their job. The hotel has a wonderful well kept pool with beautiful plants and flowers, hence the name orchid garden. Our hosts John, Nguyen, Lee and the others made us feel very welcome and provided us with tips where to eat and shop. Nguyen even made my favorite vegetable, kho qua, for breakfast on our last morning. Absolutely nothing. There were a few afternoon parties in the neighborhood going on with loud karaoke music and there was some construction work going on, but none of it bothered us at all.

The rooms were like an apartment, the staff was amazing, location was close to everything but far enough away that it was quiet and intimate. Felt like home.

The location was just perfect for us. Close enough to walk to old town and many good restaurants, but far enough to enjoy the quiet and pleasant surroundings of the property. Everything was very nice.

This is a beautiful tropical hotel located along the river just south of the old town. It's only a couple minute Grab ride into town or about a 15 minute walk. The staff are super friendly and helpful with anything you need. Our 2 room/suite was large with a fully furnished living and dining room with kitchen, a large bedroom with one of the most comfortable beds ever, and a large bathroom with a tub and shower. The pool area is surrounded by tropical plants and if not for the constant rain, we would have hung out a few hours a day by the pool. Breakfast is made to order and I highly recommend trying the Cao Lau noodles.

This was a magnificent stay. It felt like a home away from home. The staff at this hotel made us feel like we were part of the family. It is a family run establishment and you get that family feeling.

This place was excellent—it was our favorite hotel in Vietnam! Our room was very spacious and included a living room/kitchen area, a large bedroom, and a walk-in shower with a large tub. The pool looked lovely, although we didn't actually use it, and the grounds were magical; it was like walking into a lush garden. They made us a delicious breakfast every morning and were very helpful and accommodating, giving us tips about the town and what prices should be vs what people will try to charge you. If you have difficulty walking, this might not be the best, as it's a lovely 20-minute walk along the river to get to the old town (grabs were easy to get) , but if you like peace and quiet, this is the spot! also the coffee shop right next door is amazing! We had no issues, the only problem that I could see other people having is the walk into town. It was fine for us, but if you're older or have difficulty walking, it might be a bit far (20 minutes). Having said that, it was very easy to 'Grab' a ride, and the walk was beautifully lit and right along the river; it also felt very safe a night.

You cannot beat the staff and the hospitality.

The location is quit a walk away from the old city and activities. Quiet The location is a bit too far away especially if you don't ride a bike. The bathroom is grimy and not ventilated - smelled dampness and the toilet papers were damp. We found a centipede on the floor in the bathroom - it was a bit shock especially when you were bare foot in the room

The suite itself was spacious, well laid out, and clean. The location was peaceful and quiet. The free bicycles are available anytime you want to go to town. The garden and pool area was very nice for relaxing. We stayed for 3 weeks and really could not have asked for anything better. Exceptional value at this price point. There was not a single thing that I would change!

My friend and I stayed at Villa Orchid Garden Riverside for 3 weeks in a Riverview room. The garden and pool are beautiful. The rooms are large and airy. The location, walkable to the old town but away from the busy area, is perfect. Breakfasts, made to order, are delicious. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Perfect stay! Everything was perfect.

The staff, the location and the pool were fabulous. The space is quiet and also perfectly located to walk or ride into old town or along the river. Loved our stay and the breakfast is great. Nothing, will come back and this was our second visit.

We swam in the pool every day - the water was so clean and refreshing! We would 100% recommend staying at this lovely hotel!

Superb

Fantastic property, a short 10-minute bike ride to the Old Town (Bikes are free to use at Orchid Villa). Rooms are clean and tidy, and the garden setting around the pool is perfect. Breakfast is ample and best of all is Nguyen and Ly, both were always happy and eager to help with whatever you need. Ly even surprised us with a cake for our wedding anniversary! We will definitely stay again as we were treated like family. Nothing.

We loved the quiet location but still an easy cycle to the centre. The pool was great and our room was fantastic, the largest we have had so far in Vietnam. It was nice to have a separate lounge area and 2 bathrooms. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. It was great to have bikes to use. We will be back. Thank you Nothing.
