My only complaint was the actual room temperature was either freezing cold or too stuffy. I could not get it regulated to anything comfortable

We walked into this suite, and our jaws dropped! The room was enormous! There was a complete kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, a dishwasher, cooking utensils, and plates and glasses. The bathroom was enormous with everything you could ask for. The entire living and sleeping area could host a huge party. There were so many excellent details like window shades that rose with a touch of a button. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless clean. There was no smell in the room at all. The staff members couldn’t have been nicer. We never even realized a place like this existed. And the price was unreal. We didn’t know if it’s because it was a slower season in August or not. But this should be a $500 a night room. It was 1/5 of that. We will look for this hotel every time we go back to the west side of Michigan. We will also try to see if it’s available anywhere else that we like to stay. Other than being in a fancy resort, this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in!

After leaving a much less clean and welcoming hotel in another part of the state, we were so relieved to come to Home2. It was so clean and comfortable. We loved the kitchen area which my kids and I used multiple times during our stay. Highly recommend.

Newer hotel, friendly staff. Pool was cloudy. Dishwasher didn't work. Not much water pressure. Bed was awful.
-
Convenient hotel suitable for family travel. I only wish they could provide more varieties of breakfast options

That being said, I did not have a good stay. I stayed two nights and ended up moving to a different room the second night. The first room was not especially clean but the second one was better. I moved because of the lack of soundproofing. I was on floor 3 and there was some banging/stomping upstairs the first night but minimal. I was in for the night by 630 on the second night and whatever kids were upstairs were in full force. I called down and they said they can't say anything until after 10 which I understand but I just couldn't take it. She brought me the new key which was appreciated. The biggest issue are the beds/pillows. Both rooms had mattresses which are long due for replacement and the pillows are the ones that squish flat. I barely slept both nights and I don't know that I could stay again. By the way the second room was on floor 4 (top) at the end of the hall and that was very quiet.

Great location for easy access to three beach towns and family friendly shopping in uptown Holland. Hospitality ambassadors friendly proud of their Michigan water and winter wonderland.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It has a small kitchen with a spacious refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and sink. They provide you with dishes and silverware. They even have a small kitchen table. I will definitely stay here again.

First, the “free breakfast” is technically free, but that doesn’t mean it was good. The choices were extremely limited, and the only real “protein” option was soggy chicken tenders and dry-ass biscuits. Breakfast was also exactly the same two days in a row, which was strange. We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels with complimentary breakfast, and we’ve never had the exact same options repeated back-to-back. Our family was gone most of the day, and when we returned to the hotel, we had barely been in the room for 20 minutes. My husband and I stepped out to our vehicle for no more than five minutes to grab something, leaving our teenagers and younger children in the room. Apparently, during those five minutes, the guest next door called the front desk because our 4-year-old had been crying for about five minutes at 7 PM. Keep in mind, quiet hours weren’t until 10 PM. What really bothered me was how this was handled. I’m assuming the person who came to the door was the manager, and rather than speaking to one of the adults, she spoke directly to one of our teenagers. I found that incredibly rude and inappropriate. If there was an issue, she should have waited to speak with an adult. And finally, the “salt water pool,”, looked absolutely gross. We would not let out kids swim in that disgusting pool.

Good place to stay meeting a travelers needs.

Large room with plenty of space. Breakfast was good.

Front staff were extremely rude. We arrived at 3 and room not ready till 415. They were behind om cleaning rooms. People left to go to other hotels indoor pool says heated but was told by front desk no heater at all! Lady at breakfast was the most rude individual ever! She could not keep up with the food and didn't want you to ask her anything. I w I would not stay again

Having a full kitchen with a fridge / freezer, bowls, plates & silverware is wonderful. They even have a dishwasher and a disposal in the sink! Beds were comfy, bathroom is large with lots of counter space. Dark out blinds with an auto up and down button was a plus. Pool is a bit small and the breakfast was inconsistent but overall very nice.

The staff were phenomenal - very helpful and friendly! Enjoyed the 24/7 water & coffee station. The beds were pretty comfortable for a hotel bed. I know hotel breakfasts aren't typically great, but the breakfast was pretty bleak. Also wish the pool was warmer!
