Great stay - property well maintained, room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again!

Poor customer service

Expired milk in the continental breakfast was a bummer. Thought I was getting a suite with a separate bedroom for my wife and I to get some space from the kids, but there was just a divider that didn’t fully separate the two spaces. Overall, space was clean, staff was accommodating, and the breakfast when not expired was more robust than most hotels

But we really liked the hotel and the setup.

Later that evening, we discovered our shower was barely draining and quickly filled with over 3 inches of standing water. No one was available to fix it until the next day. There was also no phone in our room, so the front desk couldn’t contact us with updates and we had to keep reaching out ourselves. I’m not sure how a shower that clogged wasn’t noticed before we checked in. The woman who fixed it the next day was wonderful, friendly and efficient, and we appreciated her. However, the bathroom door hardware was also broken so it wouldn’t lock, and the hair dryer didn’t work. Breakfast was okay and the eating area was spacious. The room was somewhat clean, and surprisingly the iron was great! Overall, there were just too many things overlooked. With so many hotel choices in Holland, paying more for a Marriott should come with a higher level of professionalism, maintenance and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those expectations.

Stayed in a 6 person room. It was nice to have the option for us to all stay in one room. The breakfast was great. Lots of space onsite. The evening staff wasn’t available at the front desk upon arrival. Waited for 5 minutes and no one showed. I called the hotel’s main line while standing there. The staff came out to answer the phone so we were able to get checked in. That was odd.

We were frustrated that we didn’t get any room cleaning over a 4 night stay, even though we asked for it. Our door lock’s batteries died and it took 3 trips to the front desk and 45 minutes to get it resolved. This has been our go to place to stay, but we are looking into alternatives for our next trip.

Also, we were put into a room that was known by staff that the air conditioning didn’t work. I was told there wasn’t another room available, there was, there wasn’t and finally only 1 other room was available and I could choose between floor 2 or 4 for where I wanted my room. Um, that means theres more than 1 room available. Staff said they’ve notified manager of air conditioning issue but obviously wasn’t addressed.

The girls that was working the front desk were awesome. Even with some rude people. They did a great job. House cleaning did a great job too Na
