Very pretty property with coy ponds and the absolute sweetest host. She made us feel right at home from the moment we got there and was helpful when we needed tips or renting a motorbike. After learning that she gives all the properties profits to helping feed and cloth the community, it makes us even happier we chose this place.

Everything is Perfect! The Dorm is extremely clean and well taken care of. Outside area is beautiful and very peaceful. Definitely one of the best Homestays in all of Vietnam! 100% recomment. Chi the owner and her Husband are very welcoming and friendly. It definitely feels like home. I would always come back!!

I loved my stay at Chi’s Homestay! It was well located (in a calm and peaceful neighborhood) and the beds and bathroom were clean. Felt really welcomed and enjoyed my stay.

The location is central but on a very peaceful, quiet street. The dorms are very clean, with an on-suite bathroom and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on at a hostel. Motorbike rental is cheap and convenient. There’s a beautiful Khoi pond. Nothing :)

To be honest, I didn't expect much quality regarding facility because the price was too reasonable :). Lavatory, comfy bed, clean linens and enough storage for suitcase, these made my stay safe! Nothing! Everything was perfect!

Stayed in one of the dorm rooms. The beds were solidly made so they didn't wobble when someone climbed in a bunk. They have a privacy curtain, plugs, and a light in the bunk. The mattress was medium firm. The lockers were very big, and they provide a key. Chi (the owner) has made this a wonderful place. She provides free filtered water, a kettle, towels, and laundry for a small fee. The place is spotless. The shower is hot and has good pressure. She speaks English very well. Lots of recommendations for restaurants, etc. She is very kind and will do what she can to make sure you have a terrific stay. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Imperial City entrance. As an older single woman, I found the neighborhood and the property safe. Highly recommend her place. It is not a party place, but there is a place to eat and socialize with other guests, or you can just watch the koi fish and water lilies. I am a non smoker, and there was not a separate place for the smokers. Sometimes someone would smoke while I was trying to eat. The guests would always stop if I asked, but it was awkward. A very small quibble for an amazing place. Everything else was wonderful.

Chi is so nice and conversational, and offered to help at every turn! Property is super cute with a beautiful water garden, spacious pods and lockers, super comfortable sheets, amazingly powerful air conditioning and very clean and nice bathrooms. Great location.

Best hostel I’ve stayed at during over a month of traveling in Vietnam. Not only is everything like lockers, free water, hand soap, bed light, and everything else thought of but is set up exceptionally nicely. You actually don’t mind taking a shower or spending time in the bathroom because it is big, modern, and clean. The beds are also very comfortable and clean. The owners really go above and beyond, especially considering the bargain of a price.

Located not at the city centre, but not a big issue because the town is not too big

Great location. Excellent service. Comfortable bed. Strong Internet wifi. Our hosts were awesome. They even arranged a scooter for us at the last minute and recommended some fantastic restaurants serving local Hué dishes. The hot water heater did provide hot water but we struggled with the hot water while enjoying back-to-back showers. It is not a holding tank so it requires some consideration on our part to manage the hot water.

The host was amazing!! Super nice and helpful. The location was great too, near the old town centre but in a very quiet area.

Enjoyable stay, good location to train station and imperial city | easy check-in (currency payment) | clean, quiet, hot shower, towel, soap | pod-style dorm, AirCon, privacy curtain, electric outlet, reading light, locker | filtered water, coffee, tea, snacks, induction burner and small pot (for noodles) | pleasant and helpful hosts, nice experience, thank you!

Honestly, the quality of the rooms really surprised me. Everything was super clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. But what makes this place special is the family, they are so welcoming and genuinely care about your stay. It’s the perfect mix of a quality room and that warm, authentic home feeling. If you're in Hue, don't even think twice, just book it. Absolutely nothing. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Sweet home and sweet host family there. Chi and Tin and the Papa are all quite caring people. The location is great as well. I think this is one of the few accommodations not at the tourist side of the river, with walking distance to the old palace and bunch of local cafes/ restaurants in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

There's nothing to dislike- it's a great place! It is a little off the beaten path, but that's not a negative- it's walking distance to the major sights and restaurants and services
