Great location in town and always friendly staff. I was in a top floor room so I had the stairs to deal with but during the heatwave the room was like an oven and couldn’t cool down, had a small fan in room but it only moved hot air around.

The staff, namely Phil, James, Hailey and the beautiful Nunzia, were absolutely OUTSTANDING. Nothing was to much trouble in their professionalism and care for EVERYONE there. A truly lovely experience. Thank you all so very much and you will most certainly be seeing me again

This was the 4th or 5th time we've stayed at the George. Breakfast is always very good, beds comfortable. The rooms looking into the court are quieter than the rooms overlooking the street, but it's mostly a quiet area in any case. This time we had a moment (and nice weather) to have a pleasant drink in the courtyard.

Good location in town Drastically needs updating. Very tired looking. Room was like an oven. It’s an old building but they could put some mod-cons in to make it more comfortable. Twin beds were tiny and short, both had very bad nights sleep

Very good location easy to walk to shops.Staff very pleasant helpful and friendly. The courtyard was lovely to sit in and have drink and food. Great to have a car park. The hotel could be doing with a update. Get the hotel updated.

The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast menu and presentation was excellent. The room was very clean and tidy. I will definitely be staying here again. It was great value for money. There was actually nothing to dislike. I would recommend George Hotel to anybody.
