There was mold in the shower.The bed wasn't made properly.Very outdated and in need of a remodel. The upstairs unit played music all night.When intent upnto investigate There was a homeless person sleeping in the hallway of the 3rd floor. Seriously...

The location is fine, we still drove to beaches since realistically if you spend a lengthy amount of time at the beach I wouldn’t say the ‘walking distance’ is going to feel ideal on the way back. But there’s many places around to eat and shop. We mostly just booked this place in a short amount of time so options were so limited within my budget. I appreciate that the parking was free. We were on the first floor so I’m not sure about other reviews being able to hear waves crashing? 😂 only thing I heard was a lot of road noise. Apparently from 3rd floor you have a slight view of water. We had double beds, not queens so unless you’re sleeping by yourself you and your bedmate will be extra close. Our bed was terrible, it was literally still wrapped in plastic, I told front desk and he gave me permission to remove it. The bed or box frame was so noisy. The shower in bathroom was okay, a/c worked well. Satellite didn’t work so like 3 channels worked. Would I stay here again? No.

The staff at 777 is amazing. They’re helpful understanding. Kind. The hotel is well located. Parking is easy. I highly recommend it.

warning: DO NOT STAY!!! ROACHES IM TERRIFIED WITH WORRY ROACHES Traveled HOME WITH ME. I traveled 14 hrs to experience this horrible horrible hotel. i was in such great need to decompress. Hope this review is heard and saves another human this horrifying experience. STAY AWAY from this hotel

It's very basic hotel ,pretty clean but very out dated and old ,rooms definitely need to be redone to times..bathroom sink was gold with flowers look like something from 70s lol ..bed was comfortable ac worked. They do not have any kind of pool spa ,fitness room.. its just a basic place to stay , I was at a music event at Gaslamp and this was closest hotel.. Just needs updated rooms..

Always parking available handicap parking regular parking street parking and it’s free All rooms have brand new beds, Hilton style beds, nice and thick for a wonderful One thing I love about this hotel is I open the door and it’s a balcony and you can hear the ocean and the waves crashing on the sand so peaceful and relaxing The staff is wonderful. They’re always available 24 hours a day. If you need new towels they’re there you need something repaired. They’re there. They have coffee and atm machine. They have a relaxing lobby with the couch can sit and listen to their waves crashing at the beach Rooms are so clean and writing, relaxing Cable TV made service they even have areas we can smoke at. They have a balcony where you can sit and relax watching the beautiful sunset I absolutely love this place. I go here every single time. I’ve been here for 66 years going on seven and I will always be a patron at the 777 motor and Prices are wonderful, especially in the summertime hotel near the beach. I stay here frequently. Its in my home town. Its not fancy and its been here for decades but the staff is super nice, the prices are decent. Very Walkable to the beach and restaurants. I will continue staying here whenever Im visiting.

Great staff & location to be at the beach - the 12PM checkout time, room being clean, low Deposit & make it a great deal & 5 Star rating - they have an open smoking patio too. Open the window & hear the ocean while to knock out
