Hotel ROC Illetas & SPA

The staff , restaurant, pool and sea area were my favorite The rooms had an odor that wouldn’t go away. Air conditioners weren’t the best

Only location. Lots of outdated appliances and furniture. Safe wouldn’t work multiple days in a row. Wifi was out. Staff wasn’t warm.

It’s not as nice I thought it would be.. Rooms were old, uncomfortable bed, sheets. The worst part the ac doesn’t work.. I couldn’t sleep ??? They have us fans but man was it hot!!!!

Staff was helpful And friendly. They helped us with planning excursions and car rental. The property was comfortable and clean. Many pretty views and easy access to beach area located near hotel.

The property itself was beautiful, right on the water, well kept, and cleanly. The staff while most of the time weren’t attentive which I have found to be common in Europe, got us everything we needed when we asked. The breakfast buffet and sit-down dinner was good and we absolutely loved the entertainment provided each night. The hotel room was also spacious and clean. Our AC broke which was disappointing, we were told it was a whole hotel issue however upon speaking to other guests we heard their AC was working great. We requested a refund for the nights the AC was not working as we paid for AC and received a 50% refund on one night so that did compensate for some of it. The dinner buffet was not good for the price and my friend believed she got food poisoning from it. Additionally the WiFi was terrible there, on and off working, they definitely need a new WiFi system. Additionally the parking in the parking garage sucked, the spots were so small which seemed to be a common thing in Mallorca so not necessarily fully the hotels fault.

Incredible ocean view, staff was the friendliest I’ve ad in all of Spain, spa facility was exceptional, and the onsite parking was reasonable and important to have

The location was great and the proximity to the ocean and beaches was incredible, the staff was so kind as well The pillows were very uncomfortable. Either a couch cushion or maternity sized pillow

Great hotel, deserves a much better rating than what it has. The views are amazing if you have a sea view room ( essential ) - easy access to the city and lovely staff. By the sea. Ticks all the boxes. The least rated place I’ve been in palma yet the best. Thank you The beds could be a little more comfortable

Staff was very neutral

the room was spacious and the ocean view was exceptional! The staff really makes you feel at home; they are all so friendly and welcoming.

There was bad small outside our room & in our room. We also felt like for the price you pay there should be more included. It was hard for us to figure out on the website all that was actually included without additional purchase and it let to some frustration and disappointment late on for us. We also ordered room service one night and it was so bad we couldn’t eat any of it so that was $80 down the drain. We also had issues with our tv and phone not working which is frustrating when you are paying so much to be in such a nice place. Finally our shower temperature was always jumping from hot to cold and back so again, frustrating to deal with that when you are paying for like a luxury experience.

We wanted to stay in the Bendinant area, not in Palma, where it would be quieter. This location was a bit far from that town but easy to take a taxi. It is right on the ocean and there was access to the sea for swimming. There wasn’t a beach. There were little shops and cafes within walking distance for a bite to eat. The hotel was reasonably priced for what it was. The hotel is tired and needs updating. The food in the bar/restaurant was truly awful. Do not eat there if you can avoid it. Service was incredibly slow even though there were only a few people there. The swimming area was in the shade as of 1pm due to the situation of the hotel, which blocked the sun but there was a solarium deck for sunning.

Location, seaside, plentiful facilities and activities The room of old building is quite old, particularly the bathroom.

Everything! Beautiful room. Beautiful aspect from room. Beautiful outdoor areas. Professional and helpful reception staff on arrival and departure. No kettle in the room. I did hugely appreciate that one was provided … although the 5 hour wait was a bit long.

Our room was fabulous! looking right over the sea with a little balcony, absolutely loved it! We booked Half Board which was a great decision, the food was varied, of great quality and very tasty. We also were able to eat this fantastic meal outside on a terrace overlooking the sea, where an equally fantastic breakfast was also served. The hotel had modern and old parts. I really liked the character of the place. There was evening entertainment which was very good. As the hotel is right on the sea, you can swim in the sea from steps - this looked lovely, unfortunately we didn't have time to partake in this activity. The area, near Palma, was an easy commute of around half an hour to the city or airport. We also saw numerous buses and stops near the hotel. Although a quiet area of mainly hotels and apartments, there were a few little shops within walking distance to buy essentials. Not sure whether to mention this in the 'bad' section as although irritating it worked out alright; and that is the parking. There isn't much at the hotel and its costly. In the road there's meters, but free overnight and cheap enough during the day (if you're around). But we managed to find free parking a 10 minute walk away. The other irritating thing was - there were too many people at breakfast, so some of the days we struggled to find a table - especially out on the lovely terrace. The swimming pools, although beautiful, were smaller than expected.

It has great location with a nice private beach, and also close to other nice beaches nearby. We loved our stay, the room was comfy, the food was great, the sea view from our room was great. The staff was nice and friendly The only hassle has been the key card to the room, they are very sensitive, of which the staff informs you, they can easily deactivate if you keep them close to your phone for example, which is quite a bother because in a small bag it inevitably touches the phone. Also (and this is not a minus to the hotel just an FYI) the area has very limited supermarkets, only very tiny ones nearby with mostly snacks, so be prepared to eat out all the time
