The weather was hot, no fan was available on the room and there was no AC. Tried to keep the window open but the noise from the street was too loud. Also, the toilets were quite small and were making a lot of water noise in the pipes during the night.

Good location with plenty of food and drink locations within walking distance. The building looks sketchy from outside but we felt safe and secure during our stay. Had a little trouble getting into the room but was able to contact the owner pretty quickly to get it sorted. The bed was awful, had pits in it and left me with back pain. The stairs were a chore but there are multiple landings as you go up to rest at if needed

Very good location but no parking for a vehicle.

    I love everything about it.

Bed, location (restaurants, close to tout and train station)

So this hotel was in the heart of Inverness, a short walk to everything Inverness has to offer. It is a walk-up, so suitcases were hard to manage to the top floor. The room was great, bed was comfy, the shower pressure was amazing!

The rooms were spacious, adequate, comfortable and clean. The owner got back to me almost immediately when I sent and email for assistance. She was very kind and extremely helpful. The many, many stairs. We were a group of two sets of four couples and not a young group. We weren’t aware that there wasn’t a lift so it made navigating the stairs all the way up to the third floor with 30+ pound suitcases very difficult. A heads up would have been great. One room toilet didn’t flush so we had to use a private toilet across the hall due to the Plumber not able to come until the am.

Mattresses were worn out and very uncomfortable

Great location and very affordable for a short stay in Inverness while we did a tour of the highlands. If you have mobility concerns, there is no lift so you must carry your luggage up the stairs

Didn’t care much for the location, but was close enough for our needs. Walking up 3 flights of stairs and location was to close to downtown with lots of partying at night.

Location was excellent Loved that there was fave cloths! Bathroom setup & sink was very small

Near train station Flight of stairs

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

No breakfast or staff to talk to. Very noisy street.

The bed mattresses were terrible! They need to be replaced. Some in our group opted to sleep on the floor rather than on the beds. The carpets in the individual rooms need a good cleaning.

Great place to stay in Inverness, location couldn't be better: close to everything, including train and bus stations. The room was comfortable. My friend and I shared the bed, which was excellent and big enough for that. Great bathroom. The host was very kind. Even though we haven't met, she let us use a corner in the shared kitchen space to keep our luggage for early check-in and late check-out. Temperature was pleasant (even being late July), so a fan wasn't needed. We had no major complaints. A very minor thing was the sound of seagulls from outside, but we learned that is a common trait throughout Scotland. The window could open a wee more. That being said, I recommend this place without hesitations!

Firstly I requested for 1st floor. But was given the room on the third floor, and there is no elevator at all had to walk up three flights of stairs with big suitcases. the room that I got looked nothing like the pictures and the toilet was dirty looks like they didn’t clean up after the previous guest left. The toilet wasn’t flushed. I left immediately didn’t bother staying there. After all I’ve paid for the facilities, so why did I have to clean up somebody else’s toilet mess. They did not bother returning any money as well.

Had to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to the room with no air con. The small fan in the room was broken so after running for a few minutes, it would start making a horrible noise. Slanted floors and cracked walls. Staff never responded to my email.

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived. As a result, we were delayed entry into the room. That wasn’t a big deal for us, but when we asked for a two hour later check out, they said no. It seemed it would have been a small thing to accommodate since we accommodated their late cleaning and access to the room that we had paid for. Also WiFi was very unreliable and made it difficult to communicate.

    Stairs to the 3rd floor.

Room was fantastic. Beds was comfy. Bathroom clean. Hotel is close to the beach. Paid for breakfast, very helpful host. There is nothing to report.
