The Mint Resort Isla Mujeres

Great pool, good location, clean, and spacious Staff was unfriendly and mostly unhelpful. Hotel would charge well over $100 USD if a single towel was not returned on time. Pool closes way too early.

Location and quality of the hotel was nice

This was my 3rd time to stay at The Mint. Each time we have gone they have done more and more things to make it better. The staff at the desk were very friendly. The rooms are large, have great air conditioning and the pool is perfect to cool off in the afternoons and stare at the beautiful waves. The shower was hot each time we needed it and the room was clean. We did not rent a golf cart this time so we walked to North beach everyday (5-7 min walk). The little grocery store is only 2 blocks away. The fridge/freezer in the room can hold a bag of ice which is wonderful! Nothing.

About 10 min walk from the nice Norte Beach. Large rooms. Feels like a three star hotel max. Tiny shabby elevators and hallways need updating. The staff is pretty clueless and indifferent, not at all interested in helping guests. Never any beach/pool towels. Lots of rooms but not a big common area and very narrow swimming pool. NOT on a beach. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not green at all, very bare and urban.

The hotel was clean, modern and the staff was attentive. A great value for the price and location! The rooms were clean and spacious! There was ongoing construction noise outside throughout our stay, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the amenities . Additionally, I booked a massage through a woman who was permitted to promote her services at the hotel (attached to hotel and only have access to her services by going through hotel lobby). After the massage, her card machine did not work, which created a major inconvenience since we did not have cash on us and were already pressed for time. We were then asked to follow her across the island to find another working card machine. If the hotel allows outside services to operate on the property, there should be reliable payment options in place. Being put in the position of getting into a car with a stranger to resolve a payment issue is not something guests should have to deal with after what was supposed to be a relaxing experience.

The location was close to town and an ocean view room is spectacular. Friendly staff. Inconsistent hot water, did not love the restaurant.

The building and the Facilites are old.

I liked that the hotel was close to the sea and the room was large. The hotel staff was nice at first, but slowly it started to deteriorate to a very bad level. I received stares and judgments because of my country of origin, and even after checking out, I received humiliating treatment and no ability to help, and entering the hotel is really annoying.

Location was nice. Room and area were clean. Beds were comfortable. Rooms large with nice balcony with ocean view Pool was nice Wi-fi was poor. Hot water in room was not consistent Coffee pot not working

Great location, clean and beautiful No elevator and staying on the 4th floor with lots of baby stuff to carry (bed, stroller, etc)

Location is perfect walking distance to Playa Norte, clean spacious rooms and great service from staff

Great service provided by front desk. Loved how they let me check in early without any extra charge. Rooms were exactly as shown in pictures. Great ocean view. Highly recommend. I didn't like leaving The Mint Resort.
