This hotel was the worst part of my trip to Istanbul. After traveling to more than 35 countries and staying in many hotels, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. * The cleanliness was extremely poor. After a two-day journey, I entered the room and found someone else’s cigarettes and a lighter, with a strong smell of smoke. This was especially difficult for me as I have sensitive lungs. * The balcony had an ashtray full of cigarette butts that had clearly not been cleaned or emptied. * The bed sheets appeared not to have been changed. They were torn and clearly showed signs of previous use. * The room had almost no facilities at all, not even basic items such as complimentary water or a kettle. * The bathroom door could not be closed because it was broken. * The room was extremely small, and the balcony was covered in a significant amount of dust. * The towels were supposed to be white, but they were yellow and black from poor maintenance and lack of proper washing. * The telephone was broken. Even if it had been working, it would have been useless because the receptionist was rarely at the front desk and was difficult to find. * The staff were very unhelpful and often raised their voices. They treated guests as if they were doing them a favor rather than providing a service. * The staff would not provide receipts, invoices, or tax documents for any services, meals, coffee, or other purchases. * Although the location is central, the overall atmosphere made me feel unsafe, unwelcome, and uncomfortable. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. I would not recommend staying here. I never liked how they are scamming guests asking for money and providing zero service instead I asked them for airport pickup service! They did nothing literally nothing sending no one - didn’t give me number of driver - no car plates - they took my whatsapp made me think someone is gonna contact me! I waited 2.5 hours in airport i dub know what should i do at the end i came by public transportation! After 2.5 hours wait Next day reception guy is calling me asking for vip service i booked while i didn’t use the service bec nobody was there why to pay money for no service i took! When i told him sorry but i will not pay money he started fighting yelling with his poor english accent and fighting come back to hotel now(i was at a trip) i came later and he continued fighting and raising his voice! Telling me this is Istanbul as if i am dumb! Or idiot he is by a way punishing me for the driver didn’t show up At the end of the day i am not sure what is this supposed to mean but The receptionist guy Mr. RUSTAM ALIYEV got the prize of the worst guest relation service i can see THANKS FOR MAKING MY TOURISM TRIP AS THIS HELL

The staff was nice, they helped us a lot Very dirty place. The quadruple room was horrible, the bathroom was small (we were 3 people) and it smelled bad. The sheets were dirty. The double room with sea view was better, but still not very clean.

Really good location for visiting the old town.
-
Close to tourist attractions. Haji Sofia Blue Mosque Sultan Ahmet Too much walking up hill to get to Hotel Old furniture, bedding floors Bathroom Reception area Unfriendly rude reception owners/ workers
-
I mostly like the location and the view from the window. The location is perfect near to mosques Sultan-Ahmet and Aya Sofiya. Besides that there are more gastronomy places near to hotel The air conditioner in my room (404) made sound which disturbed. It should be fixed

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. A special mention goes to the lovely woman who prepares the breakfast each morning ???

Room exceeded expectatations!! Was super clean and cozy in a nice way. When we arrived we had some large boxes with bikes that the hotel was happy to hold for us for a couple of days with no charge. Great location within walking distance of all the Sultanahmet sites, bus stops and ferry terminals. The staff were quite pushy with many of the guests about writing reviews and this killed the vibe a little!

Located just a few footsteps from the main touristic area and access point to the attractions, yet calm and quiet. Very clean, staff very friendly, elevators, breakfast okay, I had a great view and I am happy to come back. The room had a good size and the bathroom was practical and had a hairdryer. Aircon is in the room. Just one little thing - It would be great to have curtains to block out the light. Next time I'll come with a sleeping mask. Not a big deal.

PROS: Good position, near blue mosque, Aya Sofya. Comfy mattress. Near the tram, very useful to reach other neighbourhoods. CONS: Mouldy bathroom, without window or ventilation. Broken window handles

Arrived 00:30 at night and called earlier to the reception that we are going to be late due strike. The friendly receptionist said I am waiting for you. On arrival, I requested two single beds, but the beds were unavailable. The receptionist promised to exchange the room for the next day. We went the next day for an excursion to the Topkapi, and the receptionist asked us to pack all our belongings and we would move you to the new room. We trusted the person; the receptionist took us to the new room when we returned. A new lift was taking us up to the third floor of the building. The room was clean and comfortable as soon as we opened the door. The facility was new, with comfy beds and brand-new noise-free air conditioning. We can't ask for more: a powerful shower, hot water, new daily towels, and room cleaning. We even asked if we could have a kettle and lovely staff support. Downstairs in the reception, tea and coffee were offered. Wow, we have enjoyed it so much, It is 700 metres from the town centre, so handy and a tram is 3-minute walk that will take you in any direction you need. Thank you so much for all your hospitality. Not in my stay I like everything

The only positivities were the spectacular view, which was breathtaking, and the very kind staff, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the poor conditions. We stayed at this hotel and we were disappointed. First of all, the hotel was not at the address listed on Google Maps but on a parallel road. When we arrived, we received different rooms than what we booked—instead of a king-size bed, we got a double. Secondly, the room was extremely dirty. The walls were full of stains, the towels were very used, and in the bathroom, there was a big puddle in the shower. The air conditioning was held together with duct tape and stopped working after the first day. On top of that, the internet was spotty and slow.

Perfect location for the sights of Istanbul! It was our second stay here, and they upgraded us both times ? This time, we had a seaview room with a balcony ? Nada

Wouldn't particularly day I didn't like it, but it's a strange entrance to the room, like a cave
-
