Nabu Hotel

I am still thinking about this wonderful breakfast spread: A variety of fresh! Legumes, salads, cheeses as well as cooked eggs, sausage etc. You can taste that the chef cares ! Veronica is taking exelent care of the guests as the rest of the staff !

The location is great, nearby to lots of restaurants and close to bridge. Breakfast was especially tasty. The property carpets are a little old, the heat in the room was hard to cool, and the bed was soft. Didn’t love the way we had to check our luggage when we stored it for the day but I was happy we could.

Nabu’s great location at the heart of Karaköy, with easy access to ferry port, tram and metro. It’s a neighbourhood bustling with life, with loads of restaurants and cafes at disposal. I read reviews that complained about noise in the night, but to us it definitely wasn’t a problem. The closed window shielded the outside noise very well, with only a small muffled sound that didnt bother us. The breakfast had a variety of cheese and produce, being very fresh every day. I expected a warmer hospitality. The staff wasn’t rude or anything, but they were very closed off.

The bed was very comfortable, and the location is very convenient, we had a room with the balcony with a view of the mosque, which was very nice and the room is very spacious for the price we paid.

The location was great. I enjoyed that our room had a balcony. The breakfast was typical, decent. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a loud area so at night there’s loud music. But we chose the spot for the night light. So was to be expected.

I liked that it’s close to tourist attractions. I didn’t like that the place gets noisy at night during weekends because of the loud music from the restaurants and bars below the hotel. There’s no soundproofing, so we couldn’t sleep at night due to the noise.

Location - walkable to many restaurants, bars and shops and train station is close. Also close to Galataport. Clean and cozy room that had enough space for 2 Breakfast was decent Hotel staff were friendly Because of its location, all the noise carries to your room until way past midnight. Wouldn’t recommend to light sleepers. Luckily was only there for one night before my flight out.

Everything was great. Only negitive is a club that makes a lot of noise late into the night on weekends. We were dead tired from walking all day so it didn't bother us that much, but if you are a light sleeper, the club could be an issue.

Extremely friendly staff

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better—close to everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Location, attentive and friendly staff, complete and OK breakfast, beds were comfortable. Rooms with windows to the street are unavoidably noisy. The bars from the streets have the music extremely loud so there’s nothing to do. At some point we had to ask to be moved to a quieter room and that one was indeed quiet but extremely warm as there was no windows and the Airco didn’t work. They have a good coffee machine, however they serve you instant coffee instead (Nescafé).

The location is very central also the guy who was working at the bar was very friendly attentive. The area is super noisy and the windows are not sound proof at all, it wasn’t our first time staying in a busy area as we don’t mind a bit of noise but it was next level. Unlike the other hotels they don’t have any sound proofing at all. The bedding is very uncomfortable, super soft spring mattress. Also the hotel is not 4 stars as they rated. It is a basic 3 stars.

The location, close to the main important landmarks, though a bit noisy at night, but we knew about the situation as we had stayed here before The door at the bathroom pretty hard to have it opened...

The location is excellent — right in the heart of everything, yet tucked away just enough to feel calm. The staff went the extra mile by meeting us at the airport drop-off spot since the street isn’t accessible by car, which made arrival super smooth. Breakfast was excellent too, with a great variety of cheeses and fresh options. Great service, stylish rooms, and a perfect base for exploring Istanbul!
