The bed sheets were very dirty and clearly hadn't been changed; there were stains and hair everywhere. Also, the view from the window was disappointing, as we were just looking directly at a trash dump Very poor hygiene and a terrible view from the room

I am only returning to leave reviews because now I can compare this property with other hotels I stayed in Turkey and Istanbul in past months. This place had best quality room I stayed on 4th floor. They offered exceptional breakfast that no other place offered in Istanbul. They kept cleaning the room regularly. Although balcony was forsaken only but besides that, room and washroom was spacious unlike other highly congested toilets i used in Turkey. Location was perfect to commute anywhere around. Staff was helpful and friendly and respectful. I felt safe with my sister during our stay and they kept our luggage for free in storage for few days too while we were away. Next time, if I visited this is going to be my place for stay for sure. Very tiny balcony with no view.

Very close to Taxim Metro Station making it easy to go anywhere, but located on a quiet side street so guests aren't bothered by noise.

Simple accommodation - not that cheap for what offers Breakfast food does not have any variety. I expected more of the room for the price. The bathroom ceiling is really short, I did not fit the shower.

I had an amazing time staying at this hotel—it’s located right on Taksim Square, which made everything super convenient. The hotel itself has a cozy and welcoming vibe that made me feel really comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were absolutely lovely—very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. I also have to mention the cleaning service—it was genuinely impressive! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul. I’d definitely love to come back!

Tamara Residence is a charming hotel located very close to Taksim Square. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to answer your questions. It is also conveniently near Istiklal Street and public transportation, providing easy access to every part of Istanbul. I highly recommend it for its excellent value for money.

1. Good location - 150m. from Taksim Square, Istiklal street, the metro station 2. Quiet area ( during winter ! ) 3. Low cost 4. Included breakfast at a buffet table without being very varied 5. Comfortable beds 1. Our room was cozy, but small. I saw in the photos that they also have bigger ones 2. The elevator is noisy. Our room was on the top floor near the elevator motor and heard at night. It will be good if the staff does not allow the elevator to run at night 3. There were no bottles of water in the room, nor a kettle for hot water and coffee 4. If you are traveling by car, the hotel is difficult to find, due to the narrow streets and the steep location 5. There was a problem with the TV. 6. А lot of things need repair
