Maravilloso Hotel Galata

Some facilities are kind of exhausted, like a washing machine or the oven, but overall all was good

The room was clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They especially helped me when I had trouble washing my clothes, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a great stay and felt well taken care of! It would be really helpful to have English instructions for the washer. I tried using a translation app and thought I was doing everything correctly, but it ended up taking a long time, and my clothes didn’t dry at all. Adding clearer instructions would definitely make the experience much easier for international guests.

Spacious appartment in the most vibrant location. Close proximity to both Galata tower & Taksim broad walk and tunnel. you could literally cover all major attraction in walking distance of less then 30 min. Customer service was top notch. cleaning done everyday (doent happen in most air bnb or apartment rentals). Some basic utensils were missing like kitchen knife, pans, additional plates etc. its not a big deal compared to other positive points.

Comfortable bed and great location!

There's no reception; it's always empty. It's like a house that's very secure and has a locked gate, but having a reception or security gives you a sense of reassurance.

My husband and I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room in the main building, while the rest of our family occupied the Family Suites in the suite building. The two buildings are conveniently located just a minute's walk apart. The neighborhood is fantastic, with the Şişhane subway station and the Galata Tower both just a two-minute walk away. There are so many dining and entertainment options nearby that we ended up spending more time exploring the area than we initially planned. All the rooms we stayed in were clean and exactly as described in the photos. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, assisting us with our luggage and always available to help. They even arranged a taxi for our airport transfer, and the driver was very nice and used a meter, which alleviated any stress about local taxi fares. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is in the heart of Istanbul, we walked to all the sights. 5 minutes to the Galata Tower, 10 to Istiklal. The hotel receptionist is always in touch, answers any questions very quickly. You will definitely feel the spirit of modern Istanbul

Nothing I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I arrived around midnight after a long international flight, having deliberately booked one of the highest-priced rooms so that I could rest comfortably. Unfortunately, the room was completely different from what was shown online. The bedding and floors were dirty, and the whole space felt unclean and poorly maintained. Another serious issue was that the room was located on the sixth floor, accessible only by stairs — something that was not mentioned anywhere on the booking page. After climbing all those stairs with luggage at 1 a.m., my friend and I found the room in such poor condition that we felt unsafe and uncomfortable staying there. We had no choice but to leave and walk through Istanbul in the middle of the night to find another place to sleep. No staff member made any genuine effort to help or resolve the situation. The overall experience was frustrating, exhausting, and completely inconsistent with the description and photos online.I would strongly advise other travellers to be cautious when booking this property. I’m still dealing this issue with booking customer service right now. Hope it can get some help on refunding from them soon

The place was very clean and quiet, ideal for a full sleep. There was mainly nobody at the reception desk, although Bahar and Murat kept in touch properly; so we didn't had any problem. Even when we arrived at midnight they left the key room by the desk.

Good value for money. We were there for a very short amount of time so it's good for short stays. Great location , right at the end of Istiklal street and a corner away from Galata tower. Beautiful neighborhood, no noise at night unlike other streets in the area so that is another good plus point. I felt like the location was very central, everything feels like it's walking distance if you want to hit all the tourist points. Just a short walk away from the Kadikoy tram station which can take you into Sultanahmet. So if you are short on time and need a place to stay, this is a good option. All amenities were provided, water, fresh towels, soap shampoo etc. Even has an electric kettle with tea and coffee amenities and a hair dryer! The balcony is cute. Staff is helpful and friendly and even helped us arrange our airport transfer which was very convenient. Not recommended for longer stays as the room is small, as well as the bathroom. The wood floor creaks a lot due to the old building and there is no elevator. Some mold issues in the bathroom cause it's not ventilated properly.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment in the very center of Istanbul, with amazing views, east and west, from the large rooftop terrace. Welcoming host and staff were there and ready to help with anything and everything. I had a wonderful stay, thank you!

The location. A lot of bars and restaurants.

Shower had pretty bad pressure. Door to get in was problematic, and no soften on door

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. The worst part was that our room had no window to outside, so the room was completely dark during the day, we didn’t know this prior to arriving and we were shocked to find out. In addition to that the bed sheets were not super clean, the toilet seat was broken.

The property was beautiful in a very clean, walkable area with shops near by. The staff was very nice and friendly. I loved everything about the property and my stay.

The location in Galata was great. Close to the main road but not in the high walking zone. Balcony was nice to have on good weather days. Single pane windows allow the noise to come through. I managed fine but if you are a light sleeper this location isn't for you. It's not a little amount of noise. It's all hours.

The room has everything we need and the location is really central!

The Hotel Is located in very nice, busy and turistic area. It Is very small , but It has Got Everything You need. The staff is very kind and available when needed. The rooms are clean and well furnished. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the city, especially Galata area, Which is surrounded by nice cafes, shops and suggestive buildings.

It is not a hotel , It is an apartment in fifth floor The manger said there is no left we have to use the stairs till 5th floor. The photos are not real.
