The location is perfect. The room, although small, is cozy and clean. The breakfast is one of the best offered in the area with a lot of health options. Mike who is the guest service manager was the highlight of my stay. He makes the hotel feel like home with a friendly face to talk to. Mike is extremely helpful, and makes sure everyone is taken care of.

The location is unbeatable. And Mike and the whole staff did everything possible to make this an excellent visit.

Breakfast could have been better.

This is a great choice for Istanbul. It is located a little farther from the heaving main tourist sites (but only 10-15 mins walk) but has its own liveliness and character. We found places to discover, enjoy, and eat effortlessly. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and were very generous with their time and attention. We were a family of 5.

The rooms had a very European style, perfectly neat, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with salty and sweet choices, healthy, fresh, and well presented. The staff was very helpful, offering umbrellas for the rain and friendly. Nothing, it was great.

The location! Nothing!

Very pleasant stay in overall. Great staff specially Mike !!

I loved the fact that it was so close to Galata tower and to many other places! The place is clean, quiet and safe! I loved Mike who was at the breakfast and assisted us with everything and an unforgettable complimentary breakfast! Helpful and made everything much easier! Also, the Front Desk manager was so helpful and he even helped us with a transportation card for instabul! He also helped us with having a hamam ala turka! The cleaning lady was very friendly and she was making my bed and kids’ beds everyday! I will visit again this place! I totally recommend it! Everything was fine and I can’t complain about specific things, maybe the heating needs a bit more work.

They manipulate Booking rating system by asking you to give them a high score in exchange for a present

Great staff and location
-
Location wise it is excellent. Galata tower, metro, food shops all are very close by. At first, the guy at the front desk was ignorant. Whereas I booked through Booking.com and paid for my room, he was saying he did not find it and no rooms available. I was shocked. Then another guy Mehmet came in and solved the issue.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable and clean. The little gift of nuts and sweets was lovely, well received. I also like that you give the opportunity to write free text with suggestions. Thank you. The floor of the room was very dirty, making my feet black - disgusting; and no slippers were offered. The shower was cold, no hot water even after running 10 min. The sink tap was almost impossible to open.
-
Not related to hotel but something to keep in mind; the surrounding area is very steep and not convenient for navigating with a stroller.

At the front desk, Mehmet Kural was especially helpful He answered our questions, gave us directions, and provided quality service. Our stay was excellent because of him. We will stay at the Meroddi next time we are in Istanbul

The location is very good. A minute or two walk from Galata tower. They had filled hair conditioner into a bottle that was labeled body lotion and body lotion into a bottle that was labeled hair conditioner and I learned that too late after I used body lotion on my hair! The house keeping was sad. There were only 1 cup for brushing teeth for 3 people and even that single one was not replaced for 3 days. They saw that it was dirty, but just kept it there. There’s no place in bathroom to hang towels. You’d have to lay them down by the sink. How hard is it to install a couple hooks on the walls? But the worst thing about this hotel is the breakfast area, which is not in the same building as the rooms. You need to leave your building and go to the nearby alley to get breakfast. The breakfast is served inside a tiny, narrow, low ceiling claustrophobic hallway area with just a few tables and chances are you won’t find a free table right away and have to wait for one. My daughter likes pancakes for breakfast and their pancakes were rubbery and tough to chew on and strawberries were almost all black and moldy.
