Aprilis Gold Hotel - Special Class

Our family of three had such a lovely stay at Aprilis Gold Hotel. Traveling with a child can be challenging, but the staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and until we checked out. They were constantly in contact with us even before our arrival. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the location was perfect for exploring Istanbul on foot. It is also very near to the train. A lot of restaurants, shops and fast foods are also within the area. Thank you for making our family trip even more memorable—we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families. Special shout out to Murad and Alaa for the great service!

Clean and comfortable. It quickly became a home away from home. Excellent location in Sultanamet. Loved the room(s) and the little extras (slippers, robe). Staff were friendly but not imposing. Sister hotel has a great rooftop bar where you can relax and enjoy the vibe. Coffee machine was out-of-order. But we found a cafe within 4 min walking distance.

The staff was great: very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was ok. The hotel is old. The room had a worn look. You can tell it hasn't been updated in decades. Unfortunately, there was also demolition going on next door, so there was constant banging from morning to late evening.

The location was within walking distance of the major sites in Sultanahmet. Trans to elsewhere were a short walk. The staff were attentive. There is no light above the sink, so it was hard to see what I was doing at times. The breakfast seems to be mostly Middle Eastern type foods, but the yogurt and cereal made it acceptable.

Loved the room and the breakfast. Quite close to the Grand Bazaar. Lots of restaurants nearby. Quite congested and in a hilly area.

The location of the property was excellent. Walking distance to metro and plenty of restaurants in the area. Breakfast was also well presented. On our early morning checkout, the front man at the desk was a tremendous help in getting f our taxi cab driver to the correct location From the moment you enter the aprilis gold hotel, you are hit with an endless upsell of tours and airport transfers. When you politely tell them you already booked your tours, they still continue with the upsell. Got to the point, that I did not enjoy walking thru the lobby

The location was perfect. Very close to all major attractions, restaurants, shops. Psmail, Alanddin and Murat were incredibly very helpful , thank you ! We have enjoyed every day of our stay.

Booking of airport transfer went smoothly with clear meetup instructions. Breakfast had good variety. Spacious and clean room. Baby cot was provided. Nothing, was perfect!

The beds were a little stiff, but I slept fine on them. It would help if you couldn't feel the wooden rims around each individual twin bed when they are out together to form a double bed.

The breakfast was a treat! I loved the combinations, and the food was always stocked and made to sure to be replenished. The atmosphere was very nice, not too loud or busy. The staff Veysol, and the other front staff were beyond approachable, and were able to make every request happen without a delay. They provided transport for me to the airport, and even upgraded it to a luxury vehicle for no price difference! They made sure to outline what exactly I should do in my short stay in Instanbul, and their recommendations were great. The room was great, they even showed me two different types of rooms to compare which one I would like better. I chose the room with the double, which has a bed, a couch, a table, and the basic amenities. Although the room wasn’t super luxurious, it is not what made the stay worth the money, it was the excellent service! The beds could use a bit more work. I had no trouble sleeping, but the king size bed is two beds in one, so sometimes you would feel the separation of the two beds. The upper shower head should have been cleaned, and the bathroom would have been nice to have some small kits such as vanity, shaving, clean up, etc kits.
