The reception is far from been professional not respectable at all toward guests plus the rooms not clean a lot of dust

That location is the main of sultanahment and Istanbul.

Lovely atmosphere and very kind of staff

Breakfast & location It was not clean. Bathroom was very dirty. Beds were also not clean

The location, the free breakfast (although redundant, I really appreciated the complimentary tea/coffee) and the staff was nice. The view from the rooftop was also lovely + people were very easy to socialize with The wifi did not work in our bedroom, so you had to go to the rooftop to browse. My mattress was a tad bit uncomfortable to the point where I had to lay down a few layers just to fall asleep. I think I just got unlucky, as it was okay after I changed bunks. On the second floor (for example where the women only 6 dorms room) you can clearly hear the bar upstairs into the night. Also, our toilet sometimes wouldn’t flush because the water would take forever to fill up the tank

Good proximity to top tourist attractions like Basilica Cistern and Hagia Sophia. Great guest events offered almost every day like pub crawls, family dinners , and sunset boat tours. Very friendly staff and volunteers - Burak and Senin were very friendly and always offered immediate support when needed. Alec is also a great and friendly bartender who creates a positive and social atmosphere. Would recommend! Bathroom sometimes could smell a little bad but plumbing issues usually were quickly resolved

The WiFi sucks .. think they can put a little more privacy in the beds.. they can make the kitchen public and you can not really used the freezer
-
Staff Not clean, no privacy curtains on beds, bathroom dirty and smell like meldy, I felt like it was it was a room in the army, not a good experience at all, the outside of the room was even dirtier
-
Pet dog making a mess outside the 6-bed women's dorm room.

The staff was so kind and helpful, and the location is awesome!

Just one thing, in the last days of my stay, it was a temporary situation about hot water and heaters.

The location is really good. Walking distance to places i want to visit. Cool staff and really warm to get along with. I love the vibes and interaction with all the people i met there. Nothing.

The location is great, the beds are comfortable, the wifi works well, there is storage space for every bed. I think this could be a great place to stay, if you know two things in advance. First, the breakfast is at the rooftop that can only be reached by stairs, which may be problematic to some travelers. Second and much worse, they push you into booking their own airport transfer advertising as its biggest advantage the price, that while not necessarily lower than other options, is fixed. Not only is it not fixed, but when I arrived at the airport the driver changed the price twice and wouldn't let me get out until I paid him that extra money he requested. I reported this to the hotel, and they were not even surprised. Not only did I pay more than I would with a regular taxi, but I was bullied and low key threatened on the ride.

The view of the terrace was amazing, really good breakfast every morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The offered affordable trips, outings and activities to do during my stay. They didn’t have a proper accountability for the beds and lockers, people used multiple lockers and any bed available. Which caused me to not have a locker for most of my stay.

I'll definitely be back in a few months. Cheers!
