Insta Hotel Karakoy

Great location & staff! Wifi worked but could be better. Overall very good experience for the price!

Wifi was very slow, made working difficult. Walls are pretty thin and you can hear everyone in the staircase and every time someone slammed their door close, your own door would shake.

Very good location and kind staff

Clean and spacious room. Located close to bus and tram stops as well as cafes, restaurants, and other shops. While the location was great in terms of accessibility and transportation, it was also very loud. Our street had a lot of traffic and while the weeknights were quieter, the weekend was super busy with both cars and people passing through. There was also loud music playing until early morning from somewhere down the street that could be heard clearly from our room. It was loud even with the windows closed and not only could we hear all the noise from the street, we could also hear the elevator constantly going up and down. Loved the room but if you’re a light sleeper, the noise may be an issue.

Clean, spacious, excellent location, great blackout curtains. However, the brothers who run the place really went out of their way to help resolve a problem I had (lost cell phone). Can’t say enough about them!! They were awesome! No complaints

The location of the hotel is very good - it's very close to the tram stop that gets you to all important tourist attractions. There are a lot of cafes nearby, shopping mall and just nice walkable streets. The hotel feels safe for a solo female traveler and the people working there are nice and friendly. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy due to traffic. There were also some inconveniences, such as a sink that wasn't draining properly and leaked water onto the bathroom floor, a loose toilet seat, and a front door that vibrated because of elevator noise from right in front of the room.

I highly recommend Insta Hotel as the location is the best in Istanbul. From when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and offer of tea. My room was spacious and so clean, the bed was extremely comfortable I had the best sleep ! Cafes, Promenade and public transport are all right at your door, making it so easy to get to all the attractions on both sides of the Bosphorus. I stayed 2 weeks and as a female solo traveler they made me feel safe and like family. Nothing was hard for them when I asked. Erkan and the team helped me with so many things. A big thank you again to the team at Insta Hotel, I'll definitely be back !

Exceptional

We had a lovely time in Istanbul and would definitely stay here again! The hotel room was very nice and spacious and very clean, which is what ı worry about most but the hotel exceeded my expectations, had the most friendly and helpful staff, especially Erol bey. Super good location, great restaurants and cafes nearby, walking distance to most attractions and very close to the sea and has very close proximity to transport links. Will definitely come again beautiful city and lovely hotel.

Very good

The location was exceptional! Just a few minutes walk from Galata Bridge and in the center of Karakoy cafes and restaurants with vibrant night life. It was also close to Galata Tower and connecting tram lines that can get you anywhere you want. The rooms were clean, and the hotel staff were changing sheets and towels every day. Also, Erol the guy from the reception was really helpful and he was there for anything we needed to be fixed. They also were very responsive with providing a crib for our baby. The facilities even though they were fine could have been repaired (toilet seat, night table was damaged and remote control). Actually small stuff that could be easily fixed and are not big in a decision to select a hotel. If they fix these they would be great for a couple looking for a city break place to rest and set up a base for long city walks.

I didn't read the reviews on Google maps priot to booking the accommodation, I read them the night before arriving to the hotel. Are the people writing the bad things about the hotel right? Yes they are. Did it bother me? Not at all. The linen smelled nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was ok, only thing missing if you ask me is hangers inside it.

the best thing was the location. So close to the Galata Bridge, and also to the Galata Tower. Good communication with public transport also. The room was so nice, comfortable, and very nice looking. No room service. No breakfast. Club in front of the Hotel
