Maravilloso Hotel Pera

Stuff are very kind and very helpful. Hotel is located near to Galata and İstiklal street. Subway station is nearby. Room was very clean although the building is very old.

Wifi wasn’t reliable, as an online worker, connection didn’t work for some hours.

This hotel exceeded my expectations with their above and beyond customer service, their amazing hospitality and the value I received during my stay. The entire experience was absolutely incredible! Bahar, who’s a day time manager made everything possible to make sure I had a great stay! She was always on top of everything and I didn’t even need to find her and ask for anything. Onur - the night manager helped me out with a small issue I had during my stay. They are some really awesome people! I received a free upgrade to a larger room and I didn’t even have to ask for it. This is the hospitality I’m talking about. My room was large with a king size bed. The bedding was white and clean. The mattress and pillows were awesome. Extra towels and bottled water were in my room. A true 5 star hospitality. When you leave the place to go out, only if you decide to walk around, try to either take pictures with your phone of the location because I got lost finding this place after exploring the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there’s no sign for this small boutique hotel and the only way I was able to find it when I showed a screenshot of the address to the local people. And this was during the day. At night, i think would’ve been more difficult to find it. But if you take a taxi, I’m sure the taxi’s GPS will find it easily.

Best location close to everything by foot. Spacious enough and a comfortable bed. Very warm. Moldy bathroom and a run down room in general. Dark because the light above the bed did not work. The water was only reaching lukewarm temperature.

The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, 200 meters from Galata Tower. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities. This includes comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a variety of in-room facilities such as a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and coffee/tea making facilities. The room also have good soundproofing to ensure a peaceful stay. WI-FI is available throughout the hotel. The staff it is very friendly, professional and attentive to guests needs. Akram assist us with all our requests. Prompt and efficient CHECK-IN ( even we have arrived at 4 a clock in the morning) and CHECK-OUT ( he arranged for us a taxi to the airport, keeps our luggage in the office) processes. Definitely this hotel will be our home in Istanbul. Nothing

Really lovely and communicative owner and staff! The terrace in our room was a huge plus and the location was great. The top floor room is quite small, but manageable for two people with small bags (we were offered a different room when we arrived, but wanted to keep the terrace). We found the key to the top floor room really tricky to get the knack of.

Clearness of the bathroom

Good location, clean , good value, and good staff communications. Recommend for short stay and budget friendly. Hotel staff use Whatsapp and replied very promptly and helpful. Toilet no place to hang my cloths and towel. Alot of stuff need to replace. Sink tap is broken, toilet cover need replacement as it has dirty stain, headshower holder is broken, hot and cold water is hard to find the right spot. Toilet exhaust fan is not working. stayed at level 4, very steep and cramp to bring luggage. Can caused one to fall if not careful. No lift!!! Very exhausting steps to climb.

Two times ask for cleaning in 5 days , just one time done . It was very close to Galata tower, just a few minutes walking distance and also very close to the metro line station The neighborhood was not so clean. Also the room was average

The staff was very friendly and cooperative ,location is mor the than perfect, cleanliness was daily and great. The windows isolations was not that good.

Great location, close to a metro station and the staff were very friendly. The room was also clean and they left a couple of bottles of water in the fridge. There was an unpleasant smell in the room which I think came from the bathroom when I arrived. Overnight it faded in the bedroom but the bathroom still smelled.

The bed is comfortable, but the linen is also dirty There is no hot water in the shower, some animals are constantly climbing, when I came home after work I noticed a crawling lizard in the room, in the morning I noticed spiders, since the morning of the last day I noticed a few more lizards in the room. Bad smell in the room, not a suitable room for living, dirty, the room is falling apart, the plaster has fallen off the walls, the bathroom is dirty, the toilet is full of urine, the shower is rusty

Good location. Strong air conditioning! The room is quite small and the bathroom and fixtures probably need an update. Our room was on the top floor with no elevator. It was about 70 steps; so, not a good room for people with luggage!!! The lock on the room door also needs to be replaced as we struggled for many, many minutes to open it. So... be warned. Otherwise the stay was fine, particularly for the price we paid and since we were only staying one night. Bathroom and fixtures need updating; the lock on the door doesn't work well. Please warn your guests that the room as on the top floor of a building with no elevator!
