Galata Times Hotel

Everything is tight and tiny in this hotel, from the reception to the double rooms. Our room (203) had a balcony to an interior, dark courtyard, with a very noisy air conditioning cooler engine. Couldn't sleep and left hotel the next day.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. We are a family of four with two young teens and reserved two adjoining rooms which worked perfect for us. The check in process was very fast with very courteous and friendly staff. We reserved before hand thru the Hotel the ground transportation from Airport to Hotel (roundtrip) and even though is on the high side is 100% worthy as both Istanbul Airports are kind of far from the City Center. The Hotel location is just perfect. The metro station is just few steps from the hotel and then from there you can connect everywhere. On top of this, from the hotel you can walk thru many touristic places like the Galata Tower which is only few blocks away. The included breakfast was absolutely fantastic! It offers warm and cold options and what a better way to start your day with this meal already included, plus the view from the rooftop restaurant is unbeatable! The rooms were very clean, enough space for the four of us, bathrooms were very well stocked with towels and all kind of toiletries! This is a small style boutique Hotel but it worked great for us, we stayed almost a week and had a very pleasant time. We strongly recommend it! We liked everything. Hotel was very good. We don't have anything to complain about.

Excellent location for walking to Isikial St., fantastic rooftop breakfast space, restaurant & bar with beautiful views of the Galata Tower and the Bosphorus, nice size room with coffee/tea making. Bed side tables on both sides of bed. Shower worked very well and plenty of pressure and hot water. Storage space for our toiletries in the bathroom was sufficient. Breakfast had good variety and hot scrambled eggs, olives, bread, fruit, etc. This is a pretty basic hotel, so no pool and a tiny lobby. But the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Plus we had a small patio with 2 chairs and a table. A/C often turned off, even during the night despite keeping our room card in the slot.

The hotel was really nice, close to Galata Tower and Galata Bridge, and just in front of a metro station. The breakfast was really tasty, The personnel super friendly I liked it a lot

I had a wonderful stay at Galata Times Hotel and would like to especially thank Shahin for his kindness and professionalism. He was incredibly warm, helpful, and truly went out of his way to assist us. We had an issue with our original room, and Shahin kindly helped us by upgrading us to a room with a beautiful view of the Galata Tower — without charging us anything extra. As a lovely surprise, we were also welcomed with a beautifully prepared fruit plate, which made us feel truly valued as guests. The breakfast was good, the hotel is just one minute away from the metro station, and Galata Tower is only a few minutes away on foot, which made the location absolutely perfect.

The staff were really friendly. The location is great. Breakfast was good. The rooms are fairly small and furniture looks worn out. We had a room with a balcony and it was not worth the money. There was no view, the balcony was really small and not very clean.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect and every staff member we met was incredibly kind and welcoming. Special thanks to Semih at the bar, he was super friendly and made our stay even better.

All staff was kind and eager to help. Location was great, very close to Istklar street. Breakfast was also very good and the views from the terrace were great! Thanks to Rami for always being there to help! Nothing to complain about

No auto coffee machine at breakfast

Friendly and helpful staff, in particular Rhami. Breakfast was exceptional and staff were very kind. At reception staff changed frequently, and updated guidance on sightseeing and transportation would have been more helpful.

Everything perfect . Beautiful modern room well thought out with amazing view . Very clean . The best location for getting around istanbul by walking . Very easy to walk across bridge to grand bazar and a nice walk along the bosphorous to galata port and just up the road to loads of shops and cafes and restaurants. Lovely staff and and a roof top restaurant with an amazing view for a lovely breakfast and dinner in the evening . Look out for the 2 friendly seagulls that knock on the window for their breakfast every morning Nothing it was perfect

Our room was clean and very comfortable. Excellent location for tourists like me. It was just a 2 minute walk from the hotel to Galata Tower and 5 minute walk to Tram station and the pier. The hotel is just 4 stations away from the main tourist spots. Excellent hang out place. I am very satisfied with our stay. Amazing experience.
