Location is busy with lots of car horns honking but that's also good for traveling

Excellent location. So close to The Galata Tower and Kadikoy area. It’s just steps from the Metro station. The terrace has a stunning views. Good breakfast selections. The elevator can be busy in the morning. The shower tub can be a little slippery and I had to be careful getting in and out. Not good with limited mobility. Some staff at the reception aren’t welcoming at times.

The room is gorgeous, well decorated and super lush and comfy. The view was amazing, beds were comfy, and bathroom clean. Staff were super helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect!! Shower stall is a little in the smaller side, if you’re a big person it might be tight.

The hotel is a bit dated and the shower is a bit tight. Just be prepared for older decor.

Thank you for making our accommodation perfect! We had the best room( Fatih Sultan Mehmet ) with a Golden Horn amazing view and also Galata Tower view. You will be a walking distance from Galata Briidge and Karakoy port from were you can pick up cruises to Bosphorus. We love to collect sunsets and we celebrated my beloved birthday with a perfect sunset view. Daru Sultan Galata is perfect located near Galata Tower street in a very beautiful area . Also is located near Sishane Metro and this will make a perfect connection point to see whatever you will dream no matter how far it might seem. We had an amazing trip from the airport with M11 to Gayrettepe Station . We were really impressed . I highly recommend to take that train. You will feel overwhelmed for sure. You will see 3d wall with all the fascinating attractions of Istanbul. Next we took M2 to Sishane . Istanbul stole our heart. We will surely return in another trip and we definitely will stay at Daru. The bed was heavenly comfortable, the air conditioner made a pleasent temperature in the room, the noise was not a problem if you close the window , and the staff was very very supportive, including a change of our TV in order to solve a setup for watching Fifa World Cup with some special transmission. The TV is set in the mirror, it was not an easy job to replace it with a smart one to search for the channel with World Cup transmission. Thanks a lot to Ugur for doing all his best for us to have a royal stay at Daru Sultan. We have nothing to complain. We had a perfect stay.

It was a pleasure staying here at Daru Sultan Hotels Galata. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city center. The staff was incredibly polite, welcoming, and helpful. We really loved the authentic design and decor of the hotel and our room, which gave it a very special atmosphere. Breakfast was good, and the terrace offers a wonderful, breathtaking view of the city. Highly recommended!

This hotel is in a gorgeous location, just steps from the Galata Tower, bus stops, cafes, and markets. The room featured a really interesting design with unique furniture that gives the space a lot of character. We also enjoyed the nice breakfast provided each morning. Overall, it was a great stay in a perfect location! While the breakfast staff were helpful, they could have been a bit more smiley and welcoming.

It was in a very good location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous. It was pretty quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfast had a great variety of items so I could have something different every day. They didn’t serve beer or wine and I wish the rooftop had been open in the evenings. Also the handle to the drawer under the sink kept popping off on one side, but I kept forgetting to tell the front desk.

Stuff helped driver navigate to hotel avoiding closed streets, helped with bags and arranging transfer back to airport. Breakfast was great and views from the patio exceptional. During our stay streets were closed for cars and most pedestrian traffic so we weren't able to access much of the area.

No space for parking or even board taxi

Beautiful traditional arrangements and decor. Wonderful location and great staff! Bathroom in the room is separated from room space just with glass wall and doors, which didn’t closed properly and the smell would come out.

Excellent location When entering the room you get a big smell of the septic or lack of proper infrastructure ? Had to open the window to ventilate

This hotel is amazing!!!!! I never wanted to leave. The room was a piece of art. The bath was gorgeous, the breakfast was great, personnel is very kind and attentive. Everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the view is breathtaking. It's at a walking distance from many restaurants and there is a Big Chefs restaurant very closed (three minutes walking) with amazing food at a reasonable price. The public parking lot is across the street from the hotel which is very close and comfortable if you rented a vehicle. Nothing to complaint about.

The staff is the best! Always with a smile, helping us with transport, making reservations, even checking if we were ready before leaving for the airport. Super friendly! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, and the location was really convenient. The area is busy, so expect noise until well into the night, cars honking, people, etc. The windows do not block a lot of it. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way which is not ideal. The breakfast was not very good.

Location was great! Amazing view from the room. Super clean and staff was nice and always willing to help! Breakfast was good and view from the breakfast area was even better!
