The location was absolutely perfect Rooms were a bit outdated

I liked the convenience of location, right next to Galata Tower and a wonderful view from the restaurant on the Rooftop. The building present wonderful amenities and very pleasant decoration.

The smell of cigarettes

The bathroom was a little small but I think that was unique to our room only and wasnt too much of an inconvenience.

A great hotel. Amazing location in vibrant area right beside Galata Tower, with cafes, restaurants and small shops and boutiques all around, a destination area not just for tourists but for Istanbul locals; the hotel itself has a cafe in its very welcoming lobby. We enjoy city walking, and from the hotel explored all of Galata, Karaköy and the old city (via Galata Bridge) on foot. Excellent breakfast to start each day, in the 5th floor restaurant with its incredible views over the city; this is a destination evening restaurant too. Super friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. An especial shout-out to Yasin, who reached out to us on WhatsApp before we arrived to set up our airport transfer service (recommended!), who gave personalized answers to our follow-up questions, and upon our arrival offered great orientation to hotel and city. Yasin and the front desk staff were again proactive in making sure our transfer back to the airport was set up and went smoothly.

Location, was well looked after by staff, Yasin did a great job.

Being that it was right near Galata Tower, it was very loud all throughout the night. The walls were very thin and the rooms were very cramped -- too many large, pieces of furniture.

Extremely pleasant hotel in an excellent location, literally next to the Galata Tower, one of Istanbuls key landmarks. All the staff were helpful and welcoming. Our room perhaps could have done with a little TLC but it was warm, spacious with incredible views across the city with a large comfy bed, fridge, kettle etc. The daily room service was excellent and upon arrival we were given a free breakfast upgrade which was served on the enclosed roof top terrace and has breathtaking views over the city. Its perfectly possible to walk to most of the key sights from the Hotel. The nearest ferry stop is a 15 minute walk downhill to the river. We couldn't really fault the hotel or its location The breakfast was slightly disappointing but was very generous in quantity, with a hot plate of eggs/omelette etc and a large plate of cheese and salad to follow with unlimited tea and coffee. Our only real gripe was the WiFi which only seemed to work only in the downstairs coffee shop and was hard to access.

Great location, very friendly staff. Even though the hotel is in a busy area, I didn’t hear any noise at night. For a solo traveler - great choice. Close to all major attractions and enough places to eat, drink and shop around. Could use a bit more free sockets to charge your devices. Connecting to WiFi can be a challenge. Although the room had a Nespresso machine, there was no coffee cups provided.
