I stayed at Kaylon hotel Istanbul in 2036...I had a great experience and whenever I am in Istanbul. Cebrail Acar was a great host and was very helpful

The staff shafted me on a lot of little things that cost me money. They must think we are all rolling in money. They claimed to use a credit card will cost over 11 percent of the bill (it is 2 percent in this world). I asked for a metered cab to the airport that should have cost 2200 Turkish lira but gave me a rundown cab that charged me 80 euros or 4400 Turkish Liras when I got to the airport. The flaky cab driver never encountered an American tourist that does not have a 4 digit pin number with a credit card so I had to use another cabs machine, I could have been billed twice.

I always seek for 3 things out of most stays: Location, sleep quality and breakfast. 1) Location is 10 out of 10 2) Clean and comfortable bed and pillow which is very important to me. 1) breakfast is kind of poor for this place. Also what was strange is omelette and coffee out of coffee machine is on extra charge. 2) You better bring your shower kit with you: I asked for a shaving kit and received it at the midnight after my third call. The first two requests were in the morning. 3) The hotel personnel was quite helpful during check in but turned on the ghost mode while we were leaving. I don’t really mind the second point and I would really improve the breakfast.

Breakfast so poor and no variety and almost the same for 8 days i spent there...bed not comfortable...housekeeping sometimes come to clean the room too late after we back around 3 pm

The location that was close to restaurants and historical places / attractions. Very convenient location. They do not have lactose free or vegan milk for someone who is lactose intolerant it is important to have this option. There was no city map available.

Kalyon hotel made us feel very welcome and at home. The location by the sea is excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Special thanks to halmiraza & erk for their professionalism and kindness in helping us and assisting for everything during the stay. For the exceptional hospitality attentiveness and a warm greeting every day halmiraza deserve a special recognition he made us feel valued thorough our stay. Thanks also to ayse Omer Gabriel and erk for their excellent service Everything was beautiful
