The location is undoubtedly the highest point in this property. The breakfast was poor quality (they outrageously charge you 5 euros if you ask for a cappuccino or sunny side-up or omelette), the things that are actually free are no good quality or flavor. It was a bad joke for a place claiming to be a four star hotel. Secondly the facilities had a couple of issues like hot water outage or no automatic replacement of tea or coffee bags in the cleaning service (I can tell the hotel was run on a super cheap budget and imagine the staff was told to save cost as any opportunity allows). Once again don’t call yourself a four star if you treat your guests so cheaply…!! Thirdly, a most horrible kind experience went cross with the hotel management. I brought a traveling friend to my room, and first asked the hotel if I needed to pay extra and offered to pay the fee. The front desk staff knew I had experienced hot water issue for a couple of days so he said it was on the hotel (he is actually a valuable employee for showing a graceful gesture to pacify disturbed guests). However after my friend got a room key from them, I got several calls from the hotel and later a second shift front desk employ came to knock on my door and asked for payment. I explained to them I was told it was free, but he insisted the manager demanded payment, with no real logical reason provided. His attitude was nasty and terrorizing. I said would pay later, but they didn’t relent but asked me to turn in the payment immediately. I felt like being treated like a criminal in this case…! But for what had I really done…? A couple of days later I ran into the manager and directly asked him to explain and apologize to me for the brutish attitude and approach they used. His English was barely enough to make his meaning and there was no explanation or apology from him. I felt having to vent out to him and let him know terrorizing a solo female traveler like that was completely shameful and brutal, especially the decision was made by the management…!

If I will go to Istanbul again I will definitely stay at Miapera! Location is amazing you can walk to Nevizade , Taksim, Istiklal street and Galata, Dolmabahçe. We had a peaceful sleep every night and breakfast was great they had variety of food coffee and tea every morning. Staff was very kind and helpful. N/A

I stayed in room 410, and the Wi-Fi was terrible, practically nonexistent. I contacted the staff, but they couldn't help me. The breakfasts were monotonous and not particularly tasty.
