The staff are very nice and accommodating. They cleaned our room everyday. The location is perfect! Walkable to Istiklal Street where you will find various options of coffee shops and restaurants, boutique shops and malls are walkable as well. We had a small issue with the shower heater on the last 2 days of our 11 nights stay, though they were able to resolve the issues immediately.

It's very safe place and quite location nice

The hotel is located very close to Taksim Square and the central Istiklal Street. It is very close to Taksim and the metro station. Although it is a very noisy neighborhood, the hotel windows let in very little sound. It is cleaned every day. The room was very high up, which allowed for fresh air all night long, even when sleeping with the window closed. It is only possible to go up to the second floor by stairs.

The hotel was excellent in every way! Central location, clean and tidy rooms, polite and helpful staff. The price was very reasonable for the services provided. There was also a cozy little café in the lobby where you could enjoy a coffee or tea and relax. It was a great experience!

Noise from nightclub, but it didn't affect my stay.

Proximity to Taksim square Noise level was horrible! If you’re a light sleeper, do not stay here. Also, no restaurant or room service available. Bathroom needs updating. Shower water kept getting warm then cold, etc.

Great location and very friendly staff (Saya). An option to leav e luggage, complementary water and tea. Not soundproofed.

Perfect location in the heart of the European part of Istanbul. Exceptionally careful staff. They paid attention to all my requests, so I got everything I needed and even more as I believe that caring attitude is in many cases more important than just a soft bed and a clean room. However, all other components were also at a decent level including comfortable bed, very well functioning air conditioner, good water pressure and quick WiFi. Would be nice to have a glass for tooth brush and paste, a toilet paper holder in the bathroom, maybe also a tee spoon in the room, the floor could be also cleaned better... However, those are minor details that could easily be improved and have not affected my comfort during my stay in the Independent Hotel Taxim.
