The Loft Istanbul

The location was great, but not worth the dust, mold, and smell that comes with the room. The room had mold under the balcony door. The smell was very strong and I was concerned for my health. I would NOT recommend booking here because it is not clean and the rooms smell like smoke and mold. There were also small flies on the bed. I was ready to check out and find another hotel. I told the property owners about the mold and asked for a refund. They ended up showing me a different room which was also very dusty and smelled like smoke. When I insisted I wanted to just find another hotel they moved me to Cezayir Rooms, another hotel that they owned (I can vouch for the cleanliness of these hotels, it was a lovely stay). The owners themselves were very nice about the situation and I feel bad for leaving a bad review, but I hope to help future travelers from having the same experience.

It was a place we chose from many alternatives and said we were glad we chose it. Everything was clean, we had a lovely stay without a single question mark in our minds. The location is great, it made our job easier. I would also like to thank the staff who were very welcoming. We were very well received. We will definitely choose it again in the future.

The hotel’s location was excellent. Everything I wanted to visit in Istanbul was within a pleasant walking distance, including Istiklal Street and Galata Tower. There’s also a nearby tram station for easy access to Sultanahmet. The hotel itself was well maintained, and as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. Overall, I had a very happy stay in a clean and comfortable room.

The room had too many glass Windows

Our stay at The Loft Istanbul was great. You can’t beat the location, being so close to Istiklal, Karakoy, and Galata Tower, all at once as being in the middle of all attraction points. The room is cozy, and very well put together. We especially want to thank the staff for their exceptional hospitality. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

We felt super safe at this cosy little boutique hotel. The staff at check-in were really helpful and friendly, which made arriving easy and welcoming. Everything was clean and clearly well looked after, showing great maintenance. The location is fantastic, with many easy going and trendy local bars and restaurants just around the corner. Super easy to walk everywhere. W’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located in a very vibey area, and in walking distance of istiklal street, taksim square and galata tower. Wonderful location. Room is lovely. Also good service-particularly Volkan who received us, was extremely responsive, friendly, warm, extremely helpful. Definitely a place to consider for location and comfort. Tea bags were provided I wished there were coffer capsules too.

Gorgeous boutique place with high quality service. Very close to the new Galataport and also Istiklal Avenue, other touristic spots. Transportation is very close as well. The terrace was beautiful.

Traveling alone, I felt incredibly safe and welcomed. The staff were amazing, my room was clean, and the location was perfect for discovering Istanbul.

The staff were wonderfully kind, my room was pristine with a spotless bathroom, and I felt completely safe at the hotel, tucked in the trendy Cukurcuma part of Taksim. This put me close to many Taksim hotspots and just a short trip from Sultan Ahmet.

Breakfast was not available though it had been pitched during our booking. Staff was unavailable and non responsive to requests.

Perfect Location, just next to an awesome diner that plays great music and ofcourse close by to a great breakfast place walking distance to the public square and shopping street. Not too far from the picturesque sea. No reason to complain

Location was perfect. Close to everything. Like having your own apartment and you just request if you needed anything. Volkan made sure it happened.

Its in the deep heart of Istanbul, if you want to avoid taxi’s and just walk around taksim area this is the place to be. The access to the hotel is with steep steps so if you are with luggage then get ready to do some serious exercise
