World House Boutique Hotel Galata

The location was exceptional, as was the staff. We had a view of the Galata Tower from our rooms. The team there helped us with everything from booking a sunset cruise and Dervish show, to restaurant recommendations, neighborhoods to see, and transportation to & from the airport and various experiences. Top notch in every regard. We are a family of 4, with two college age sons and have traveled extensively. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay at the World Boutique Hotel in Istanbul. The location is excellent — very lively and tourist-friendly, just steps away from the iconic Galata Tower, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The staff truly made the experience special. Everyone, from reception to the cleaning staff and café employees, was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Murat, Ismael, and Erkan for their kindness and helpfulness. They assisted us in organizing a walking tour and booking a hamam, which we really appreciated. The attached coffee shop was also very convenient for breakfast, offering delicious pastries, quiche, and great coffee. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the complimentary bottles of water refreshed daily, as well as the L’Occitane products in the bathroom. A few things to keep in mind: the rooms are quite small, with limited space for suitcases and a very small wardrobe (we had the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony). Adding a few hooks or towel racks in the room would make it more practical. We stayed on the 4th floor and there is no elevator — not an issue for us, but it could be difficult for some guests.

Very clean, comfortable room (albeit on the small side) with modern, cozy decor, updated bathrooms, and super friendly staff! The location is very “touristy” which can be good or bad depending on your perspective. The early morning prayer could be heard very loudly.

The location was great. But the staff was the best. They made excellent recommendations for our two most meals of our trip, and for an amazing Hamam experience. Super friendly and they definitely took care of us. Plus the attached cafe had an excellent flat white. Will definitely be back. Nothing. There is no elevator, but I don’t take elevators id I can help it so it wasn’t an issue for me. But it might be an issue for a someone else.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff are very attentive and provide excellent service with a smile. The location is great, close to Galata Tower, about a 2-minute walk No breakfast

Very modern and clean. The staff was super friendly specially Ismael. It’s located in a hill so walking every day down to the metro station and then walking back up was difficult. Specially because it was super rainy and because I was traveling with my mom. So I wouldn’t recommend it if you travel with elder people.

The hotel is pretty, clean and has a great location and views. The entire staff (from the reception to the cleaning and cafe staff) was kind and always more than willing to help. I would 100% recommend this place!

Nice clean room with a great view of Galata tower. The staff was all really friendly and helpful above and beyond what is necessary. Neighborhood is a little noisy into the late hours of the evening. But that should be expected when staing in this area.

The place was amazing and the staff were so nice, especially Ismail, who is extremely warm and friendly (helped us store luggage, order taxi and everything). Murat was also really helpful as well. Nice location, nice ambience within the house, and great cafe attached. The place is on a really busy street, so even though the noise cancelling windows work well, some noise at night does come through.

WiFi at times is a little slow, and heater is not as warm during chiller nights. The top floor lighting for the bathroom is a little dark at night— but this is an old building over a century old, so it makes sense.

So loud, could not sleep at all. Room was facing Main Street and the lights were bright and lots of loud street noises from cars and people that meant sleep was difficult

Excellent location, staff and comfort. Hotel not too big-very homely and amazing attention to detail by staff and management. It is my second time staying and I will do so again; my first choice in Galata! Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay. Nothing

We were truly blessed to be at this beautiful little hotel! We’ve been to many 5 stars hotel and this is at the very top of those lists! From the moment we walked in, we were assisted with our luggage, were given warm greetings by all the staff, even at the coffee shop which is part of the hotel. We were offered amazing Turkish coffee and tea. Our wonderful assistant Murat immediately became like a long lost friend! He kindly upgraded us to the beautiful suite, located on the top floor. The room is so beautiful comfy and homely, we sincerely felt like in our own surroundings. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like logs. Shower is beautiful presented as well as the room. Beautiful thought out amenities, tea and coffee is of high quality and served how we like it - loose leaves in French press. We had complementary mini bar, which even some 5 stars do not provide, fresh fruit platter was also available. The views from our suite is above all, spectacular and mesmerizing. Everything is located on your doorstep. They have their own coffee shop with amazing coffee and cakes,and a gift shop too. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing about this hotel. All the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly! Thank you to all, Murat, Ismail, Eren (at the coffee shop) ‘tiler’ the cat and the rest! It’s 5 stars all the way! You have truly mastered how be host your guests ? Only negative - we didn’t want to leave! Also, perhaps not for those who are sensitive to a little street noise at night.

I liked everything about the property. It absolutely drips in class. It’s right on the main street but it’s set back in private. The way they decorated is beyond what anybody could ever ask for there’s an absolutely adorable coffee shop on the bottom floor. You are in the most incredible location for shopping and dining and wandering. Also at the top of the street away from the tram to take you to the old part. I will not stay anywhere else anytime I am in Istanbul I also have to mention the staff. They were all wonderful. I arrived sick and they made sure they brought me tea from the coffee shop and a couple of times brought me things to eat because they were worried about me. They set up travel guides and anything I wanted to check out had information on. . Erkon became a friend because of how thoughtful and kind he was. Usually, I have at least one downside about a property, but I cannot be negative in any way about this place. The staff was unbelievable.
