This hotel is in a fabulous location. Unfortunately the standard king rooms (105 &106) are not good 106 has a king size bed tucked in an alcove with 4" between the bed and the wall; water stains on the ceiling; plaster buckling on the wall; and aTV that didn't work. 105 was more spacious but had no window; the air con didn't work: the bathroom had mold in the edges; and the TV didn't work. We were told the lovely pictures seen in the advertising were the king suites. Entry to the hotel was through a coffee shop and did have an elevator. The rooms were very reasonably priced.

Comfortable bed, beautiful wooden floor tiles, rustic exposed brick wall, excellent location in a tourist-friendly area, convenient hangers for clothes, great heating system (especially during cold weather), reliable hot water shower, a hair dryer provided, and useful toiletries. Power sockets were inconvenient as my adapter didn't fit well, next time I will be better prepared for this. The AC remote didn't work even though it was on, but the room temperature was manageable.

The Staff don’t care about you!

Booking photos were misleading, room is way worse than it looks online.

The duvet on the bed was very old and torn, which made a very bad first impression. Some of the walls were damp. We had to go downstairs frequently because they kept forgetting to put the water and coffee in the room. The heating either didn't work or turned off by itself, so we were very cold at night. Having to keep asking them to clean the room was a real hassle because hotels usually offer daily cleaning. The hotel staff wasn't very helpful.

We were given a very bad room that was extremely cold. The air conditioner/heating system was not working properly, and the room was uncomfortable to stay in. There was no tea or coffee provided in the room, and cleanliness was poor. The service at the reception was also very bad — the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked to change the room, they refused, saying there were no available rooms, without offering any real solution. Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay, and I will definitely not return to this hotel.

The room itself was spacious and the large terrace was a great bonus, making the stay more comfortable and giving some extra space to relax. There are a few things to keep in mind. There are basically no onsite facilities besides a small coffee shop in the lobby, and there was no room cleaning during the stay. The kitchen setup also needs improvement — it only has a small two-burner electric stove and almost no utensils, making it impractical for actual cooking. A microwave would honestly make much more sense here.

The room was spacious and clean and the location is great right next to the Galata Tower and close to the metro station.

Nothing

The location was extremely close to the historical Galata tower. The staff was helpful. The towels didn’t look very clean and the seats on the balcony looked as if they haven’t been clean in a very long time.

I had stayed at this hotel previously and had no issues, however this stay was completely different. The hotel confirmed there has been a change of ownership, and I would not trust older reviews. We booked a Standard King Room, but the room we were given was nothing like the photos or description. The first room was infested with bugs. We were killing bugs inside the room, including on the floor, near the bed and in the bathroom. This was disgusting and made the room feel unhygienic and unsafe to stay in. The room was also not soundproof as advertised. We could clearly hear neighbours talking and moving around. The listing states a quiet street view, but instead we were looking directly into the back of other buildings. There was an exit door right next to our room that staff used throughout the night. Staff were smoking there, and the smell of cigarette smoke kept coming into our room. The door opening and closing repeatedly made sleep almost impossible. After two nights we complained and were moved to another room, but this room was also not as described. It felt smaller and more claustrophobic, was even noisier, and had safety concerns. It required a manual key and the lock did not work properly. We were told this was an upgrade, which was misleading. We tried to resolve this with the hotel and through Booking.com, but the hotel refused to acknowledge the issues and was unresponsive. This was an extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant stay and did not reflect what was advertised at all.

The AC heating kept going crazy beeping, going on and off every minute until fixed by the property.

Extremely small. No table inside

The hotel’s location is excellent, and the spacious rooms provide a very comfortable stay. It’s perfectly situated near Galata Tower and its vibrant surroundings, with metro and tram stations within a reasonable walking distance. The room had minor shortcomings, including malfunctioning lamps and missing spoons and cups intended for two guests. Housekeeping could have been improved, as we didn’t receive bath gel refill. The shower was also inconvenient, with water temperature fluctuating randomly between hot and cold, making it hard to set a consistent temperature. Additionally, it took quite some time for the hot water to come through.

The staff were very accommodating and hospitable. The location was ideal and a very good value for a modest hotel.

Wonderful location made this spacious room a great base for a week in Istanbul. So convenient to Galata Tower and all that surrounded it. The waterfront and bridges were a leisurely walk away so you can hoof around the city. The metro and trams were a reasonable walk to get to when needed. Be mindful that cigarette smoke can be noticed a bit in the hallways and outside your window. Thankfully not in your room. These folks like their smokey treats morning, noon, and night. Aside from that this place I would do again.

The location Love the vibe but, our room got leakage from the roof when it rained, the toilet from one to another room are not sound proof so i can hear everything my neighbor did in the toilet even talking, it was clean, just enough to sleep and get ready, but the location is perfect, nearby to everything even have a convenience store next to the hotel

The hairdryer is very bad and soooo loud
-
Overall the hotel is very near to the Galata tower but equally very quiet street for peace. Room was spacious with a fridge and cattle, comfortable bed and cupboard. The toilet is not noise proof from the toilet upstairs which means all noises from above toilet comes in your toilet which is very strange and scary at the same time.

Completely outdated, nothing like in the images. ACs and electricity is installed poorly. When AC fails in one room, others are affected as well, requiring the staff to go into someone else's room to fix YOUR AC. We had one night, due to this, no AC because the staff couldn't go into a room where someone was sleeping. They offer rooms without windows and without any kind fresh air intake systems. Some rooms are separated via very thin doors that have huge gaps at the bottom. You can even hear your neighbors using the light switches - not to mention when they talk, etc. After complaint and discussion, the staff upgraded us. But the experience was still extremely low. All bathrooms have a disgusting smell and mold. And this review comes from someone who has lived in Istanbul (Kadıköy, Beşiktaş...). This is way below the standards, especially for the high price. Definitely not recommended.
