Taksim Antique Hotel

Well I booked the dungeon room and I didn't realize the bathroom and showers were outside of the room. It's still private but I felt uneasy a bit going to the toilet in the middle of the night as anybody can access downstairs. Maybe if you are a girl to take that into consideration.

This hotel was a horrible scam. The staff has zero common sense and was completely unaccommodating. I told them I would be late for my check in so in response they stole my money and said I could not have my room and left me out on the street.

The location is great and the room was quiet. The lady that checked us in was sweet Checking in was a pain since the door was locked. Neighboring store had to call the hotel. The room needs repairs. The shower door gets stuck, the floor piece to the bathroom is broken, hooks for towels fall off, and I struggled with locking and unlocking the door. The bed sheets don’t fully cover the mattress and we did find 2 spiders in the bed. The last room cleaning was the weirdest. We went from an excess amount of toilet paper down to 1/4th of a roll. The remaining was taken away by staff. They also moved all of our items, including a hot hair straightener from the shelf in the bathroom to a wooden table and wrapped the cable, which is very strange and untrusting. I’ve never had a hotel touch/move all of our items. I do believe an item was taken but I can not prove it. I’ve lost all trust in this hotel.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, and they were super-responsive. The room is located in the perfect spot, so it was easy to reach everything. Room cleaning could've been more regular and thorough.

I had a great stay at this place! The location was perfect — everything we needed was nearby, and we had easy access to metro, tram, and bus stations, all within less than 10 minutes walking distance. The room was small and cozy, but very clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always replying within seconds. Would definitely recommend and book again!

Central location, 2 minutes walk from Taksim square and the main shopping street. Beautiful charming building with amazing views from the terrace. Spacious room with a couch to relax by the window. As advised in previous comments, there is no lift and there are five sets of spiral stairs up to the room, just to keep in mind if you are travelling heavy! During my stay there was an unpleasant smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom, so just need to keep that door closed.

Accessibility, the comfort . Very homie and the hospitality of the person . It’s not that i didn’t like , however i wish there is a lift incase i bring big luggages. Good thing I had only carry on and travel light .

It was a comfortable and nice stay The rooms were nice and clean, they cleaned our room daily but they don't change the towels every day, they change them when needed and this was better than other hotels I stayed in There was everything I needed in the rooms and so it was comfortable during the stay There is no elevator in the hotel but this was not a problem for us The location is right in the center and about 2 minutes from the metro but less than 1 minute from Taksim Square and the famous street
