Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi

An absolute gem in Kanazawa! Convenient location, perfectly comfortable rooms and beds, quiet and peaceful, amazing breakfasts and evening udon, wonderful selection of complimentary drinks supplied, attentive and friendly, accommodating staff. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We were immersed in Japanese culture in a delightful fashion. I cannot wait to return to Kanazawa and enjoy another stay at this hotel. It was our favorite lodging during our Japan vacation. Nothing!

Lovely comfy beds, and great to have a coffee machine for the mornings! Walkable distance from the station and also from the main sights in Kanazawa.

A bit hard to find at first.

Location was very convenient, just off a main intersection on a quiet street; about 15-20 min walk from Kanazawa station. We really enjoyed the intimate and cozy atmosphere especially the free ramen in the evening as well as free beverages in the main lobby/sitting area (the twig tea was delightful). We opted to do breakfast on our own (eat-in cafe with a proper cup of coffee steps away or Family Mart a short walk). Lots of local bus stops at the main intersection so easy to get around if you don't want to walk (board back, exit front; tap on/off with credit card since Suicca does not work in Kanazawa). Room was overall comfortable, clean, and had a very neat walk-in large shower room with multiple heat/cool settings. Also appreciated the free daily water bottles and restocked beverages in the mini fridge. Staff were very attentive and even gave us personally addressed snacks upon check-out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quiet and boutique experience in the center of Kanazawa. There was a second large mirror in the closet which was a bit odd and not convenient to use as there wasn't enough light in the bathroom area but we made it work. There were also only 2 hooks and only later realized the metal stand was for towels (which we had tucked out of the way to accommodate our luggage, have to be creative). No coin laundry in the hotel (several minute walk) but this was known upfront so we just planned laundry before/after this stay.

The hotel is modern, really tastefully decorated with reasonable size rooms. Western style beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was Japanese style with plenty of choice. The hotel also served a free evening noodle meal as an option. The hotel also provides a list of local places to enjoy Kanazawa gourmet food. Very central location, great for walking to the market, castle and spectacular gardens. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only about 750m from the train station. Everything was great!

This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Comfortable large room, gorgeous breakfast, really helpful staff, near the station and the main sights. Great bathroom and free bath salts.

This hotel was wonderful!! The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. The hotel itself was modern and beautiful! They served udon in the evening for free, drinks in the room were free. Everything was so comfortable. The shower was huge! I would definitely recommend this hotel! The room was a little small but that was expected.

Outstanding! I would stay here again in a second! Perfect location, lovely modern decor, so comfortable, and perfect location—short walk from the train station and the castle area. The staff were sooo helpful! Plus there free coffee and other drinks in the lobby, along with free dango and udon at certain times of day?

This is a stylish and cozy new hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are many pleasant surprises from the hotel. The location is very convenient.

Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. New and modern property that is well appointed and very stylish. Not too far from the train station if you are on foot. Room was small but comfortable, clean and chic. Unfortunately the AC was broken in our room but the staff was extremely helpful and concerned in making sure we were comfortable. The staff was awesome and we appreciated all of the welcome gifts.
