Lotus Lake Residence - Kandy

The staff at the recpetion were very cooperative and nice. The lake and temple view from the suite was mesmerizing. Property was clean and a smart tv was a plus point for the kids. We were provided everything that we requested. Last but not the least the price is really good for a suite overlooking the lake and temple. Location was great. Highly recommended for anyone especially people coming over with family. Nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect.

The location, hotel, and room were all absolutely fantastic. What really stood out, though, was the staff—their behavior was awesome and incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended!

Great stay with clean modern rooms. Good AC en nice showers. Stayed one day and was perfect. Breakfast was nice. Perfect for a stop in Kandy with great price quality ratio. Unfortunately you cannot see the view while seated for breakfast at the top due to monkeys.

The bed was super comfortable (but a little small for two), great shower with good pressure, large shower. Fixtures were a bit old and broken holder with a bit of mold where the sink seal was.

Great location - in a quieter area by the lake, yet just a short walk from all the buzz. The room was clean and well maintained, with a comfy bed and a great variety at breakfast. Would definitely recommend - great value for the money.

The hotel is in a quiet area but a short walk away from central Kandy. The hotel overlooks Kandy Lake with some rooms having lake views and others garden views. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were great and a special mention to the manager, Theshan, who was very helpful in arranging tours and helping me out when I had a some food poisoning (not from eating at the hotel). Just an FYI that access to the town from the hotel is by a relatively steep path. As a couple in our 60s we had no issues but for guests with mobility issues it may be a problem.

Card payment was not possible which was a bit inconvenient for us. I was expecting this option to be available from a hotel of this caliber.

The hotel is located right in the center of the Kandy and at the same time in a quite location, far from noise. Staff was very pleasenat and helpfull trying to help us at any time, We had some issues with hot water, though it is a general problem in Sri Lanka. On the last day, right before leaving, I put a water bottle on the floor and fell asleep; in the morning, I noticed a big hole in the bottle, and I assume it was gnawed by the rat. But I never saw a rat.

The staff were very friendly. They helped a lot in different arrangements including car to Ella. Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean. Location and view was just perfect. You better confirm on the room view with hotel before if you are seeking for the lake view.
