The hotel is located right next to Wawel Castle, which means it is right in the center. You are very close to the old town, Kazimierz and any other place in Krakow. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Since I needed to leave early one day for an excursion, they even made a breakfast package in advance for me. Breakfast is plenty in buffet form, and there is a restaurant and rooftop bar. I can surely recommedn this place.

It is a great location. I had an issue with one of the lights above my bed repeatedly turning on in the night. It started after 23 pm. After 45 minutes of this happening I dressed and packed my things before going down to the front desk in my pajamas to ask for a new room. The man on the front desk was very nice and came to the room. After he saw the light above my bed turn on again, he suggested cutting the electricity for my room. I objected as this would have cut off the air and any lighting in the bathroom. He then cut the electricity and got a chair to unscrew the lightbulb which worked. I was glad for a solution so I could sleep for the one night I was staying. In the morning, the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly suggesting this was a good omen for Polish people suggesting they would live long and well. While I appreciated his attitude I was frustrated that my night’s sleep had been disrupted for more than an hour with this unsettling occurrence. He suggested he would provide freebies on a return stay. I stated clearly that I wouldn’t be returning if this was the solution. He also offered my colleague the same return benefits on a return stay. I found this frustrating with so many excellent options in Krakow. I did appreciate the staff, the location and the excellent view from the rooftop. I was disappointed with how this incredibly frustrating experience was handled.

Great location. We effectively managed to get to all the important benchmarks by walking. The hotel is effectively (as the name suggests) under the Wawel castle. Did not try the breakfast buffet because of the price, which I find rather high.

Location is perfect plus decent parking price for the city center Hotel is old needs a refresh, furniture, conditioning is central and loud even on off setting, shower was inconsistent flow plus hot and cold randomly.

Excellent location just by the castle near the river. There is also a nice rooftop bar with a pleasant view. It is easy to walk to the main city attractions by foot from the hotel. The hotel is nice, clean and quite.

Location was perfect for us! We hand a bus tour and then our second day explored the old town so the location was perfect Can’t fault anything

View from balcony, lovely new bathroom, nice size room. Not much choice for breakfast, no milk for tea/coffee
