The room and the locker were a good size. The breakfast was pretty good and dinning room was pleasant - you could sit at a bench with a window. I thought the location was good - next to the river, lovely stroll in the afternoon. Beds not squeaky! The elevator started on the second floor and did not go up to the floor where the rooms were, only reception. One bathroom for a room of 6 would perhaps be insufficient but it was fine as the room wasn't full. No curtains on the beds which meant if someone was sleeping on the bottom bunk and you had to access your locker (next to the bed) you may shine a light in their face. But you could hang a towel to provide some privacy.

Good location and decent price for a place with ac and beds. Located on the 6th floor so if you don’t like or can’t do stairs it’s not for you. Also bring breakfast if you want bc they don’t have much to offer for breakfast. Rooms are also quite narrow to fit 2+ beds so if you are a little chubby like me you will have to maneuver around the room carefully to get from one side to the other.

The location was perfect near Jubilat stop where the bus from the airport arrives as well as buses to Krakow central train station departs. Walking distance to Vistula river and a peaceful place. The dorm had ac so could sleep through the heatwave.

Lovely morning breakfast unlike others serving a European style breakfast. Staff are kind and it is generally a very calm relaxed hostel with clean facilities The mattresses were worn in visibly. The foam mattress toppers they added didn't change that they were deeply sagging

Great, big locker, solid bed, decent breakfast for the price, nice staff and good location, nice atmosphere and common areas Wasn't a problem for me but I could see one bathroom for 12 people to share being a bit too little

It was fairly close to the centre, the room was nice and the bed was comfy. It had everything I could have asked for. Was a bit tricky trying to get in with all the codes but the staff was very helpful. I didn’t like how there are no keys to the room though

Location was very good! Next to Wawel castle and not far from old town. Toilets and showers are shared but private so that is good. I regret to say that the staff is not friendly. I paid for air conditioning, but they refused to turn it on. This felt like a scam because they only turn it on depending on the weather outside, claiming that if it isn't "hot enough," they won't switch it on. They even got upset when I asked for it, which is completely UNACCEPTABLE for an advertised service. They argued that it goes against "common sense" to request A/C if it isn't extremely hot outside. In the hospitality industry, common sense actually dictates that if you advertise a service, you must provide it regardless of whether it's boiling hot or snowing outside! It is unbelievable that they don't understand basic customer service principles. Furthermore, the very first "solution" I was offered was that if I didn't like it, I could stay for free for one night and then leave (I booked 3 nights). Offering to fix the actual problem and keep the guest happy was never their priority. They also told me to open the windows but is not good because several bugs get inside . Although the manager eventually gave me a discount because I requested it, discounts are not always the right fix if you want a business to thrive, delivering better service is (I appreciate the discount of course). I was initially considering leaving a better review because of the discount and good breakfast, but what happened on the last night changed my mind. They finally turned on the A/C, but the next morning during my breakfast time, someone briefly opened a window while the A/C was running ( I was not in the room). The staff member in charge of breakfast and cleaning walked in and immediately started screaming like crazy at me and another guest. He was extremely hostile and shut off the A/C in the worst possible manner. I told him that neither I nor the other guy opened the window, but he refused to listen.

Big nice common room and a decent breakfast There aren't that many bathrooms and the ones that are there are a bit cramped. You might need to wake up a bit early if you want to get ready with a shower.

The environment was homely and comfortable, it was quiet and the breakfast was served with a lot of warmth. The location was excellent.
